We have you numbskull.

My issue is how do you do it? And how do you prevent the next generation from doing the same thing?

I think there needs to be a wider view of the whole issue.

Bernie and Warren can work on that.

The next generation from doing what?  Being dumb asses?  Having parents that are dumbasses?  Thinking $150k in student loans for a degree in Interpretive Dance in the 20th Century is a great thing?   Stupid should hurt and financial hurt is real.

That’s the position he’s taking? That breaks against the narrative of this board that seems to think we’re supposed to have zero casualties and save everyone.

I think the appropriate narrative is the execution of the administration's withdrawal plan doesn't have any concern for the potential level of casualties.  If it did then logically you'd withdraw your non-combatant civilian population first and then withdraw your military forces protecting them afterward.  Not abandon defenseless civilians, suddenly wake up from a policy coma and realize they're in danger, and then be forced to re-insert the military to face even greater risks once the hostiles took over the territory than if you did it the right way.  Biden's strategy is closer to saving the minimum number of people than it is to saving everyone.

Well, that’s where the battle is. You think that private colleges with fake degrees should be able to rape the citizens and it’s not their problem if they were tricked and signed the dotted line to attend a fake school that might not be accredited 2 years down the road because muh free market.

Well, we see where that got us.

Rape citizens??   Again. Stupid should hurt.  Not my fault someone didn't do their research and let little Johnny go to some stupid school for some stupid degree.  Why should I be on the hook for that?  Life has risks. I'm not paying for yours.

I think it may appear that way on tv, but we really have no idea how the military is handling the possible scenarios here.

Trump’s comments are more about “where” these people are supposed to go, and I think that’s a pretty weird and tone deaf way to look at it presently.

So every person that was recruited out of the military by ITT Tech and had their GI bill stolen by a school that no longer exists and has zero accreditation, is just SOL?

Hey, I wouldn't dismiss that scenario.   How about the administration enlisting the support of a couple hundred thousand members of the greatest threat to democracy?  All those "white supremacist" guys they claim are running around out there.

Send this "red neck army" over to Afghanistan and offer 100 bucks a head for every Taliban or ISIS thug and dirt bag they take out.  And if they end up getting shot or killed then its just one less "domestic terrorist" to worry about!  Kill two birds with one stone, no pun intended.

Hey maybe even generate some revenue for selling them "Taliban and ISIS hunting licenses".  It would be more sport than shooting unarmed Deer and Rabbits.  This might be a win/win for everybody!  Because what's needed more than anything to address this problem is some creative out of the box thinking.

Bill Kristol needs to STFU.  He's partly responsible for Biden being in office right now.

Yup.  Try getting your stock investment back from a company that has gone belly up.  Life comes with risks and sometimes those risks suck.

What do you propose instead?

I wouldn’t pretend to know the legality behind all of it. Maybe CommieKay would know more. Personally, I would wipe 50k from everyone’s Fed loans to stimulate the economy and allow people to put the private ones into bankruptcy.

What I do know is that private (for-profit) colleges were using extremely predatory tactics going back to Bush in 2000, recruiting from military bases, making promises to poor people feeling trapped, etc.

My gf used to work at ITT as a recruiter. She lasted about 6 months. She couldn’t sleep at night.

ITT no longer exists. Those degrees are toilet paper.

Theres dozens of other colleges that did the same thing.

Good lord!  Why not have them get a job that pays them $6k a year more than what they are making now and have THAT stimulate the economy.

You’re a very sick individual that preys on old people and needs to be sent to the penalty box, along with your conspiracy theorist friend fanboy. Lol.

If we're talking old people with student loans then they are doubly dumb.  And you're the one wanting to prey on old people who will be paying the bill for the $50k forgiveness.   They agreed to it, they should pay it not me (one of the previously mentioned old people).
