Nobody else reacting seems to feel that way.  Maybe you're walking around with your eyes closed?  Or you depend on the system for your livelihood?

As for modern monarchies, I suggest you travel to to Saudi Arabia with the intent of establishing a DEI program to get some firsthand experience on how a modern monarchy would handle that idea?

I know some very good people in small town and county politics.  Have met a few national figures once or twice.  Was once called on to revive someone who passed out from heat at a Clinton rally (Bill was there supporting Hillary).  Getting emails answered from my Senator is not "being in the club".  But, no.  I've got nothing to hide and I'm certainly not worried about the Biden admin coming after me.  Now, If trump wins...

Farley with his trademark eyeroll. Trump doesn’t recognize right or wrong, just what he can get away with and what’s best for him. I see that as a threat.

Good God man, what planet do you live on? You've just accurately described the Biden administration.

Some hopeful news I never expected to read.  Speak MAGA but act middle of the road.  Great idea.

https://www.semafor.com/article/06/16/2023/jd-vance-the-senates-maga-dealmaker

“We hear from the same people. We’re working on this together. We have very few differences on it, almost none,” said Brown, Vance’s co-sponsor on rail safety. “His most important job, in my opinion, is to deliver 15 or so Republicans here.”

That job requires him to speak MAGA in the conservative media world, where Vance has been an eager attack dog. His collaboration with Brown began even after he’d taken a prominent role bashing President Biden’s response to the rail disaster and complaining that the administration was “talking about how we have too many white-male construction workers” instead of fixing it.

The railway safety bill has gotten most of the attention; it’s got the best and earliest chance of passage. But Vance has also joined forces with Minnesota Sen. Amy Kobuchar on preventing catalytic converter theft; with Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren on getting guardsmen and reservists earlier access to healthcare; with Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly on speeding up manufacturing starts in rural areas; and with Warren, again, on clawing back executive compensation when banks fail.

Why Democrats Won’t Debate Anymore

by Derek Hunter

If you don’t use a muscle for a while it will atrophy to the point of uselessness. The same goes for the brain, which is why it’s important to engage in mentally challenging activities every now and then – anything from reading or a game of Trivial Pursuit to watching Jeopardy or engaging in a vigorous debate.

That last one, by the way, is the easiest and most fun, because talking to people is fun. Liberals, however, gave up on the concept of debate a while ago, and now are incapable of it (and not just because their ideas are horrible failures).

Flip on MSNBC and you not only won’t see a debate, you won’t see a serious discussion. Rachel Maddow, on the rare days she works for her $30 million (tell me again about the evils of capitalism), does not speak to anyone who disagrees with her. In fact, MSNBC does not employ anyone who disagrees with the progressive orthodoxy, no matter how absurd it is. Michael Steele, the former RNC Chairman, and every other “conservative” they keep on staff to trot out to pretend to have Republicans on their network sit silently on issues like pretending boys are girls and sterilizing them. No sane person, let alone conservative, can sit silently on this absurd concept, yet silent they sit and hammer their checks.

NBC has a gay news platform called “NBC Out,” because news apparently has a sexuality. It appears to only hire gay reporters who, quite coincidentally (I’m sure), find ***** or trans-phobia under every rock. That might have something to do with the silence of their “Republicans,” who want to keep those checks rolling in.

To be fair, they also have news platforms based on race – NBC Asian-American, NBCBLK (black people news), NBC Latino, etc. – because not only did Democrats create segregation, they love it dearly to this day. The left never changes their objectives, only their tactics. Today’s racism is couched as “tolerance” and “celebrating” things that don’t matter.

"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."  - Oppenheimer

Robert Oppenheimer was not a member of the Communist Party, but he was a "fellow traveler" who agreed with many of its goals1. New evidence has emerged that demonstrates that he had been a Communist but had not been a spy2. Oppenheimer's long-time membership in the Communist Party of the United States was made secret in 1942 because he was being used as a Soviet intelligence asset by the Communist Underground to help obtain atomic secrets

Will be interesting to see if Hollywood vilifies him or makes him a saint.  as much of the world sees us dropping those bombs as war crimes.

guessing he will be the hero
