Republicans can add “Dr. Seuss books” to their ever-growing list of “things they live in daily paralyzing fear of” apparently

Republicans are just such sad, angry little people. Banning The Sneeches because it hurts their feelings (even though the kids loved it..).

The funny part is that Roundy actually thinks that the school administrator who objected was a conservative.

She must be, because Republicans in other states are suppressing speech.

At least that's the Daily Kos take.

All the stories explain what happened, but THE NARRATIVE take is what we must spread.

What a buffoon !

That ("was the admin a Repub?") was going to be my second question if he replied.

Why do you believe she is a Republican? I am assuming you don't deal with many school administrators because the vast majority are liberal

LMAO. ITs like you just forgot when that librarian said Milania's donation of DR Suess was RACIST and the collective mob declared them racist and demanded them be removed from schools.  Short memory?

I still remember when the mob went at mark twain for Huck fin (and even kill a mockingbird) and demanded it be removed or changed.

Conservatives love banning books they don’t like. Look at Maus, for instance. Can’t have anything that makes you feel uncomfortable!

No book anywhere should be banned, period.

Because the sneeches is about racism and that makes republicans uncomfortable.

Mobs/authoritarians love banning books.

Some weirdos lately are championing pornography in libraries. thats just strange. but again, that seems to be a mob thing

I provided an example of when the LEFT wanted to and banned DR Suess.  and you still ran with "Conservatives."

So books that have pornography should be allowed in school libraries, is that what you're saying?

And The Sneetches is broadly about classism, not just racism.

This is such a strawman argument that it’s not worth my time.

Another strawman. And yes, I said that banning books at all is wrong, illiberal, and unamerican.

No, you just have no answer for it.  Not allowing certain books in school libraries is very different from banning books everywhere.  But if it plays into the left's hands, that's all you care about, isn't it?

Never mind that this was a terrible example.  Again the kid and probably the Admin weren't Republicans.

What kind of clown believes showing 5 year old sexual explicit pictures is appropriate? Seriously what is wrong with you?

ITs whatever MSNBC says, then any deflection possible.

Its like some have no intention of organic replies and post.

No school library anywhere is putting porn in its collection. Go outside.
