If the Bills had Darren Waller at TE, along with JB's return, they'd score a TD on almost every offensive possession. In today's NFL, good Offense beats good Defense. Aaron Donald is better than Darren Waller in a vacuum, but Waller's upgrade over Dawson Knox, which is significant, makes Waller the most logical pick here. Aaron Donald is better than Darren Waller in a vacuum, but Waller's upgrade over Dawson Knox, which is significant, makes Waller the most logical pick here. If we scored a TD on almost every possession, we would be scoring about 40 ppg. Waller would help but he's not going to add 10+ ppg of offense. Aaron Donald is the best player in the NFL. No. They win when he’s out for a number of different reasons. They are a much better team when he’s playing as would any team be if they had one of the top offensive players in the league.
