I wish he would admit there was no fraud but I would bet money (and Im not usually a gambler) Id bet he will never concede he lost fairly. I dont think his ego would allow it. And secondly he has his sycophants in his ear telling him that because it truly is what he wants to hear and believe wether it is true or not. He won't put the country first he wants to keep his base supporters thinking he was robbed so he can use them in a 2025 presidential run to restore the perceived wrong.

no way he ever runs again.

Yes it is....but I  do not remember Hillary filing dozens of silly suits knowing it would not change the results....I don't remember Hillary tweeting that the election was rigged....and, from all we know so far, Trump lost by a much wider margin.....I don't remember Obama stopping Trump's team to begin the transition process.....What Trump is doing right now is really bad for our country....everyone knows it...some can't admit it ..

The Clinton campaign itself did not file suits, but they did sign on to suits brought by the Green Party.

I was fact-checked on this by another poster who had some credibility and he or she was right.

BUT, I would argue that it was not comparable to this effort to undermine an election result with the social media propaganda, it did not preclude Clinton from formally congratulating Trump on his win, it was not used as a justification to withhold the transition process and information flow to the President elect.

My opinion is that signing on to that lawsuit was just a way to vet close results; which could have been the messaging from the Trump campaign sans all the irresponsible conspiracy messaging and attacks against our democratic voting institutions.

I disagree. He'll have a cake walk into being the nominee and is such an egomaniac he'll probably run again.

If GOP rivals won't challenge him now, they know they have no chance against him for the nomination.

He could theoretically be the de facto GOP nominee for the next four years without anyone challenging him.

don’t see it. That same ego couldn’t handle running again and losing again. It’s not his MO.

walk away claiming it’s rigged and blame that also as the reason he’s never participating in political system again.

it aligns with how he operates.

He's a sociopath and a narcissist.

He doesn't think like a normal person.

He's completely humiliated by his defeat and will do whatever it takes to right what he thinks was a rigged election against him.

Look, just like it was "mostly peaceful protests" this was a "mostly legal election", right? I hope if Trump loses legally that he does run again, we need to eliminate the corruption that exists in both partys.

Trump is the definition of corruption though... so that makes no sense. Everything he has touched has been rippled with corruption one way or another. Who fires as many people as he does? He hires someone and the second they don't want to be in his pocket he fires them. Build a wall... whoops full of corruption, back accounts in China(Where is the hunter biden laptop...evidence got lost in the mail?)

Trump telling republicans not to vote by mail b.c even back then he had a plan to try this bull#### and it didn't work b/c right now the law still holds true above corruption. Government has already talked about a peaceful transition no matter what Trump tries. He creates unrest in his tweets to the point Twitter has to put warnings on b.c some people believe that stuff he tweets about. It's doesn't work b.c now another conspiracy pops up to add onto the first one.

It's is a funny backwoods cycle that you cannot do anything but push ahead with the future and at least realize the larger population as a whole is still smarter than those who have been brainwashed into extremism of thoughts.

Rippled with corruption? He has fired a lot of people he himself appointed but was it because they weren't in his pocket or was it that he simply could not trust them to take a stand against the established corruption that has been going on in this country since forever? Trump is not a politician, of that there is no doubt, that just means he is not beholden to contractors, corporations, companies, foreign countries or any entity that does not put America first.

Where is the Hunter laptop is a great question. the proof of Biden family corruption was ignored by the MSM and the left. You would think that everyone who even thought the possibility of graft and kickbacks and payoffs might, just might, make you wonder if Joe Biden is fit to be the President of this great nation.

Bring up Trumps China bank account, one he made years before running for Office. One he closed himself before running for Office. The point is moot.

No one is brainwashed into extremism except those rioters and looters on the left that took over and burned cities. Do you see Trump supporters rioting? Looting? Burning businesses or government buildings? C'mon, man.

Yes he is all those thing, you also just described more politicians than not, unfortunately.

BUT, looking at his pattern I will  proactively give you his tweet now:

Everyone tells me they want me to run in 2024 and would win in a yuge landslide never seen before. Which is true! Should I run, maybe because I’d get more votes that anyone ever. But the fake media and same rigged election people from 2020 will never let it happen because witch hunt... I am walking away a winner and the greatest president in history of any country anywhere

I don't see it.

I'm not even sure he's peacefully going to leave in January.

Admitting defeat would go against everything he stands for.

Admitting defeat isn’t part of this at all. It’s all about constructing the narrative as to why he’s too good for the job and Joe is losing by taking the job as his successor as well as making sure he gets credit for vaccine. But we shall see.

I mean I can see you being right but at the same time I don't think he planned on winning the 1st time so I don't know he might do it again.

Trump is a want to be dictator.

If he said I'm not leaving, arrested Biden and said we're not doing elections anymore, few of his supporters would care.

They would cheer.    They were chanting "Lock her up" in reference to Michigan Governor Whitmer at one of Covid Donnie's rallies in Michigan while Trump preened like a peacock.

I agree with your assessment of Trump's mentality and why he's not likely to run in 2024.   A narcissistic sociopath like Trump will always blame somebody/something for any loss and make sure that he doesn't suffer a similar loss in the future by avoiding a similar situation.   Trump will, however, probably continue to hold the GOP hostage for as long as his health and money hold out.

Talk about a guy who is full of himself... I don't know if the republicans would let him run on behalf of them. He might have to reopen a third party.

This, too.  I think nothing that Trump does or says is likely to dim his light for his Cultists --- there were still many "true believers" in Hitler to the very bitter end with the Red Army in the suburbs of Berlin -- but not all of the 73+ million Americans who voted for Trump are cultists, and they may very well walk away from him for a variety of reasons.  Trump is going to face some serious legal issues once he's out of office, including possible criminal cases in New York by both the State AG and the Manhattan DA, as well as civil cases involving.  He might skip the country to avoid prosecution or lawsuits.  He could end up in prison if convicted on criminal charges.

I think that Trump's behavior since the election isn't going to stand him in good stead going forward, either.   While Congressional Republicans are afraid of him, a number of Republican governors/state officials have broken with him because his mishandling of the coronavirus epidemic has dumped a supertanker full of trouble on their states while he ignores the pandemic to pursue blatantly frivolous lawsuits, settle scores with "traitors" in his own administration, and impede the transition.    The parting image that most Americans, even Republicans, may remember best about Donald Trump is that of him golfing while the pandemic steamrolled across the country.  Not a good look.
