Mahomes appeared on "KCSP 610 Sports Radio" this week, he threw out a number ... saying he strongly believes he can hit 83 yards in the air!!!

"I've never seen Josh throw a football but I know how far I can throw it … but I know it's pretty far."

"I think I can get it anywhere from 80 to 83 yards," Mahomes added.

DONT throw your arm out kid

Did he say the Bills have a good success rate on runs? That... doesn't seem right.

I also think it's strange that people don't mention that the Bills already faced (and lost to) the Chiefs earlier in the season, albeit in the bad weather game. You'd think that would have analysts shy away from takes like this.

But with a rematch I actually like the Bills chances. They have a lot of good things going for them now. They are more healthy now (knock on wood), the defense has figured some things out, and every game has given Allen more experience and confidence.

Poppinga: Josh Allen, Bills are Chiefs’ biggest threat in AFC

Josh Allen is “playing out of his mind,” Brady Poppinga says, and the Bills – not the Steelers – have the best chance of beating the Chiefs in the AFC.

The biggest [threat to the Chiefs] right now are the Buffalo Bills, and that’s because they can defend, they can rush the passer, and Josh Allen is playing out of his mind,” Poppinga said on Reiter Than You. “He’s a guy that when he came out of college looked like he was going to be terrible. Couldn’t throw the ball accurately, didn’t demand much respect from his teammates, he didn’t win in college – all things that, when you’re checking the box off of a guy that you want to lead your franchise to a championship, not good. But he has completely defied the odds, he’s an anomaly, [and] they have a strong running game.”

Buffalo Bills.

Why it could be them

Quarterback Josh Allen's breakout third season with new top weapon Stefon Diggs has pushed the Buffalo Bills from good to great, if not special.

Allen owns a perfect 158.3 passer rating on deep balls, his 154.4 rating in the fourth quarter of one-score games ranks No. 1 in the AFC, his 146.6 third-down rating ranks second in the NFL, and he's thrown nine touchdown passes to zero interceptions in the red zone.

What more can you ask?

.....

It's also difficult to find a weak spot. Allen is becoming a star,

Those numbers are no joke!

I hope we as bills fans appreciate what we’re seeing. It’s pretty special.

 they should

yet.... we see complaint after complaint for one thing or another

I can finally after 2 decades enjoy the games with a hope that Josh can pull off another 4th QTR Comeback

even Pete Schrags at gmfb has bought into the Bills and called for the Bills to win Sunday’s game

I doubt those are still his numbers, although they are very good I am sure. That article was from early October.

true this thread was started in October

but his #s are still very good

Based on last year’s stats

Overall, Allen had a 24.1 completion percent, 8.7 yards per attempt and 64.4 passer rating on deep passes last year.

it’s a HUGE jump

Yes, I’m sure his numbers have settled down. That said, it’s still special.
