A Day at the Movies with Lorenzo Alexander

LB Lorenzo Alexander took the South Park HS Football team to the movies to see the premiere of 'Black Panther,' as part of his ongoing mentorship program.

This has been going around on Twitter:

At the time of him doing this, he was two years into his own cancer treatment. But he took the time to visit others who were suffering without anyone even knowing what he was going through. The good die young.

I heard the news late last night.

So sad, I was really looking forward to seeing what else he would be doing in his acting career. So young.

RIP

Chadwick Boseman’s first film role was as Floyd Little in ‘The Express’. The film focuses on the life of the late Ernie Davis, the first black football player to win the Heisman Trophy. This is the first of many influential films that Chadwick starred in throughout his career.
