I'm a hell of a lot smarter than you, I can notice an equivalence when one is staring me in the face. This is Antifa's kristallnacht. Aggressive ignorance cracks me up.

Hoax.  You’re clueless, intentionally or otherwise, if you correlate Antifa to hitler.

Cuomo gave it his best shot.

But alas, he has to settle for most murderous Governor in U.S. history.

Fortunately he has a long ways to go to catch trump.

Simply put and I am tired of it.  You want to say that Trump is a white supremacist?  Then go ahead and make your point and be done with it.  I will not agree with it but you will have had your say.  To compare anybody that you dislike to a Nazi or Gestapo figure makes light of the things that happened in Europe during the 1930's and 1940's.  My family actually suffered at the hands of the Nazi's including murder.  Such as being led to the edge of town and being machine gunned into a freshly dug pit.  A fate that did not solely rest with Jews but anybody who resisted the Nazi's including paying unreasonable taxes to a movement that they did not believe in.

I think the love of, and acceptance of, Communism if far more deplorable. I mean, the Bolshevik's killed a lot of Christians. They were worse than the Nazis, I'd argue. This is the world we live in...

How about what the Japanese did to the Chinese before and during the war, as well as their treatment of POWs

I believe Stalin alone far exceeded Hitler in sheer number of murders under his regime.

And Mao surpassed them both IIRC.

They didn't do communism correctly! That's why we need to try it here.

From what my grandmother said years ago it was pretty easy to run afoul of the Nazi's.  In the end the Nazi's considered all of what was within their borders theirs and people were allowed to occupy property as long as they unswervingly served the party.  Step the tiniest amount out of line and look out.  Like you said both are evil and there is no rational reason to want to live under either system.

My father in-law was an actor in Berlin in the 30’s. He was also Jewish. He was ordered to perform in the Nazi propaganda films and he refused.  He had a death warrant out on him.  He fled Germany to save his life  and wrote a book about his journey.  So ***** all you who call people you disagree with Nazis. ???

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck, it's probably a duck.  Since Trump embraces  major tenets of Nazism like white supremacy and extreme nationalism; uses Nazi tactics like scapegoating against people of color and retaliation -- including violence -- against his opponents; and demonstrates a willingness to sacrifice any number of American lives as well as the future of the country in pursuit of his own warped goals -- which is, apparently, to re-make the US into a neo-Nazi version of paradise --  I would say comparing Covid Donnie and his sycophants to Hitler and the Nazis is most appropriate.   He's earned it.

Furthermore, I don't find the Trump/Nazi comparison at all "offensive".  What's offensive is supporting a white supremacist, dictator wannabe who repeatedly has demonstrated his unfitness to be POTUS.

FTR, my great grandparents and all their children and grandchildren, except for my grandmother who emigrated to the US in 1920, were butchered by the Nazis for being converted Jews.  I have personally known a handful of concentration camp survivors, both Jews and Gentiles.

Bull crap.  Cornerstones of any totalitarian state such as what Nazi Germany was include state control of the media (not happening), disarming the general population (Trump supports the Second Amendment), and a massive death industry (no where to be found).  Go to your local community college and sign up for a history course that covers the time and place we are discussing.

Sometimes while reading this stuff, I blackout. When I come to I find myself licking a window and spanking my own ass with a large mahogany stick wrapped in an antifa flag and I catch whiffs of moms sweet BBQ hot pocket melting with 3:00 left on the countdown from my quaint basement studio apartment.

He's right, democracy will die if the left gets control of the WH, and Congress. It'll be hello socialism

I stopped reading after the mention of mayors being abducted by Trump to never be seen again.  But yes democracy will die if the current incarnation of the left prevails.

That's the Right Wing story line but it's not supported by historical fact, especially in the early 1930s when Hitler was establishing and consolidating his power.

Hitler was not appointed Chancellor until 1933 and did not become Fuhrer until 1934.  While he was pushing the rise of the Nationalist Socialists during the early 1930's he did not have the leverage of formally being a national leader.  So what is really your point here?  Trump never spearheaded any movement before being President.
