There is No Middle Ground with Today’s Democrats or the Deep State

by Ned Ryun

Original Article

Lose an election you thought you’d win? Well Democrats’ have a solution for that: “We shall impeach all da things!!” Don’t like a Supreme Court justice? Impeach him! Don’t like the president? Impeach away. And if you’re Congressman “President” Swalwell, I assume you nuke whatever is left.

Of course there are no real grounds for impeachment—just failed lies and hoaxes. But who cares? Clearly the Christine Blasey Ford and Russian collusion hit jobs failed miserably, but damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

Like a child with a box of matches, deranged Democrats seem to think they have their hands on a good idea. Their thinking goes something like this: “If we can’t be in control, let’s burn it all down, destroy norms, throw an epic political tantrum, hold the American people hostage! That’ll show the irredeemable deplorables to question their betters!”

The Democrats’ sycophant propagandists in the corporate leftist media are barking and clapping away like circus seals, cheering them on. Both sets of deranged people appear perplexed, however, that outside of their bubble within the Acela corridor people in real America, as Politico chronicled, think the idea of impeachment is absurd. The corporate leftist media’s reaction, from Chuck Todd’s meltdown over the weekend to the Politico piece, is one of shock and disgust that people are not listening to their enlightened masters on this matter.

Even worse (for them), polls show a majority of people actually agree with President Trump that the Bidens’ behavior in the Ukraine—and I would add, China—should be investigated. Oh, the horror of it all! This is not how it’s supposed to be: the peasants in the hinterlands are supposed to accept the absolute tripe being force fed to them; obediently and without question. In the minds of Democrats, the corporate leftist media, and of course the deep state actors, the world has been thrown off its axis and is spinning out of control. They must step in and save the “world.” But what world? Whose world?

BLOOMBERG SYNDROME IN ACTION:

● Shot: Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti Elected to Chair Global Climate Leadership Group.

● Chaser: Some L.A. officials want a state of emergency declared as homelessness crisis worsens.

—The Los Angeles Times, September 30th.

In 2011, Victor Davis Hanson warned of “The Bloomberg Syndrome:”

“Quite simply, the next time your elected local or state official holds a press conference about global warming, the Middle East, or the national political climate, expect to experience poor county law enforcement, bad municipal services, or regional insolvency.”

What Democrats Today Really Want

By Star Parker

FTA:

As a policy adviser in the early '60s, he (Moynihan) opposed and prophetically warned about the mistake made in the welfare law that required no working man present at home in order for the household to receive welfare.

His concerns proved well founded. Black families were devastated. But the thinking that went into welfare touched the whole country. Marriage and family in America since the 1960s has collapsed.

One-third less American adults are married today than were in the 1960s. The percentage of babies born to unwed mothers has gone from less than 10% to over 40%.

A critical moment in the slippery slope of cultural collapse was the legalization of abortion on demand in 1973, opening the door to 60 million-plus unborn children destroyed in the womb.

It is the cultural war that fractures our country today: whether we are a nation of culture, facts and a Constitution that draws the line where government stops and individual freedom begins; or whether America is just about politics, where political power brokers write the script of our lives.

It is now one year since the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh. We saw what it means when a country detaches from reality and any sense that there is something called a fact.

In such a world, any individual with an unsubstantiated charge who appeals to someone with political power can wind up sitting as a witness in a Senate hearing and hurl charges that can destroy the reputation of a fine man.

In such a world, little boys and girls can arrive at school and claim their sexual identity is different from the biological reality that defined them at birth.

And the idea that there is law that precedes politics is out the window. Ambitious politicians can claim they know what is just and use their power to expropriate wealth and property from whom they choose and redistribute to whom they choose.

This is what divides America today, not what happened in a conversation between President Trump and the president of Ukraine. It is not President Trump whom Democrats want to impeach but 63 million Americans who voted for him.

{snip}

With 150-plus conservative court appointments and an unemployment rate the lowest in half a century, conservatives, under President Trump's leadership, are winning back our country. This is what Democrats hate and want to destroy.

With the rising rate of narcissism brought on by helicopter parent telling their kids they are special and giving them trophies and their addiction to social media, I expect to see these statistics rise regardless of politics.

Well, we all know that Governor Coonman is all about protecting and respecting the blacks...

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: The Strategies of Targeting Trump: We are headed for a train wreck. No one knows for certain which outcome is most likely.

“After failing with the voting machine gambit,

the Logan Act,

the 25th Amendment,

the emoluments clause,

the McCabe-Rosenstein faux-coup,

the Comey memos farce,

the “resistance” efforts outlined by the New York Times anonymous op-ed writer,

the campaign finance violations accusations,

Stormy,

tax returns,

whistleblowers,

leakers,

the Mueller 22 months charade,

and now impeachment 2.0,

what exactly is the point of impeaching Trump just 13 months before the election?”

Distracting from the revelations to come, I think.

Plus:

Sane observers see impeachment as a travesty without either moral or legal grounds to justify removing an elected president 13 months before the 2020 election. But sanity means nothing these days, given the hatred of Trump, the volatility of the electorate, and the furious bias of the media.

After all, we are planning to impeach a president on the basis of a “whistleblower” who will not come forward, who is a Democratic partisan, who worked for a current Democratic presidential candidate, who contrary to the whistleblower statutes went first to the Democratic Chairman of what is now the impeachment inquiry committee, Adam Schiff, also chair of the Intelligence Committee, and whose formal complaint was prepped by Democrat-affiliated lawyers. The whistleblower claims second-hand knowledge from leaking White House Staffers who heard a confidential Trump conversation—a conversation whose transcript was immediately released and was at odds in key places with the whistleblower’s second- and third-hand versions.

We are headed for a train wreck.

That they don’t care is itself a high crime and misdemeanor.

Image result for bugs bunny

DEMOCRATS HAVE BECOME THE PARTY OF WILE E. COYOTE – SUPER GENIUS. At Townhall, Mike LaChance writes:

How did the coyote think this was going to help him catch the road runner?

And that’s where the Democrats are now.

They are so obsessed with their pursuit of Trump that their methods no longer look rational.

Their overconfidence is another near-perfect metaphor for Wile E. Coyote.

In an equally famous Warner Brothers show titled “Operation: Rabbit,” the coyote is paired against Bugs Bunny, who outwits him at every turn.

The coyote tells Bugs that it is pointless for him to resist his desire to catch and eat him because he is a genius. He suggests that he is smarter, faster, and stronger. His victory is so assured that there is no point in even objecting.

Does that sound familiar?

Democrats and their many allies in media pushed a conspiracy on the American public for three years, claiming that Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. When that was revealed as untrue, they moved on to another ridiculous claim, not unlike Wile E. Coyote buying a large rubber band from ACME that he could strap around a large cactus, only to launch himself face-first into the ground.

These are not serious people, and they should not be taken seriously.

This drama is building to a nasty climax: a dirty campaign from now until November 2020. Trump and his allies will run on a strong economy and against a ‘do nothing’ Congress controlled by ‘radical socialists’. Democrats will run against a ‘corrupt, erratic, self-dealing Trump and his spineless supporters.’

Unless the Democrats can find a clean, competent, center-left candidate to lead them, they face a difficult task. They will need to sell the public on unpopular, brutally expensive new Washington programs. That agenda doesn’t just split the country, it splits the Democrats. What unifies them is hating Trump and everything he stands for.

Pelosi’s impeachment strategy is not separate from this electoral calculation. It’s central to it.

I see it a little differently. I think Ds are for it because they think a lot of bad stuff is going to come out on Trump causing people to be disgusted and vote against him ie. Democrat.

Meanwhile Trump likes it because he can portray the Democrats as the party that cried wolf.  I can see him now at one of his monster rallies saying "They tried to get rid of me but couldn't.  I'm here for you.  They don't want you to have a Great America you deserve." or whatever.

It's a win/win.  Makes one wonder if DR's whole uni-party theory is really true.

Since he may as well be one at this point, dropping this here:

This Sure Looks Like Mitt Romney’s Secret Twitter Account (Update: It Is) Meet “Pierre Delecto.”

Quote

Earlier today, the Atlantic’s McKay Coppins published a lengthy profile on Mitt Romney, apparently part of Romney’s effort to set himself up as the noble Republican foil to an out-of-control president. These sorts of pieces, which are more about narrative setting than anything else, typically don’t contain a lot of new information, but this had one notable exception. About midway through, the usually guarded senator revealed that, just like fellow lone-voice-of reason-haver James Comey, he was the owner of a secret Twitter account.

He made the account private after being made, so many tweets are now missing from the story.

Here’s the formula:
1) Trump says something crazy
2) His critics lose their minds
3) Footage reveals that all his critics said the same crazy thing in the past in the same exact scenario
4) Rinse and repeat
