Any reported player visits with the Bills yet?

Not that I’ve seen. I don’t read too much into sr bowl visits though because unlike the combine, teams can meet with an unlimited # of players at the Sr Bowl. So they will meet with as many as they possibly can.

Or do they actually catch the ball well.

Well, that's a separate analysis.

We're talking about just measurables. Hand size relates to grip strength, but grip strength is all that really matters. Just measure that.

Montez Sweat you had my curiosity but now you have my attention

6'6, 252, 35 5/8 arm length, 9 7/8 hand size and dominated practice yesterday. High level player in the SEC the last two years. I'll have to go back and dig on him.

I saw him interviewed last night on NFLN. Intriguing prospect for sure.

Quote

“My buddy Glenn Gronkowski played down there in Buffalo for a little bit,” Risner said. “I have a really good friend, Harrison Phillips, who plays defensive tackle for ya’ll. Another small-town, corn-fed kid like myself. I really like that guy a lot. I’d love to be in Buffalo and help out their offensive line.”

I love McLaurin. If he’s still on the board in round 4 run to the podium.

He’s so fast. Plus exceptional route running and hands. McD probably salivating over his ST ability.

I love how the majority of our coaching and a scout team is down there doing what's needed to find the next batch of talent for this team.

Say what you want, but I'm feeling very confident in the direction the team is headed. Everything from them stating that they are going to be judicious in free agency, drafting BPA and the importance of coaching/paying their own makes me feel like they are on the way to building a sustained winner.

Here's to hoping that's true. Go Bills!

Yep, so glad they are all there, year after year, instead of say, Atlanta...

It’s cool reading that about Risner. He would be a great fit for Buffalo offering flexibility at T and G.  Might not be great value at 9 though.

I don’t think he’s in that conversation. He’s a 2nd rounder.

Buffalo Bills – Ben Powers, G, Oklahoma

The loss of Eric Wood and Richie Incognito was felt heavily last season and Buffalo has a host of free agent decisions to make with its offensive line. A 35-game starter for Oklahoma, Powers is a people-move in the run game and features a stout anchor in pass protection. That’s what Buffalo needs on the interior.

Only porn producers and directors care more about a man’s measurements.  It’s wild to see how much detail goes into the NFL draft.  Even still, about half those chosen have real impact in the NFL.

They use that info for analytics
