BuffaloBaumer
If Allen looks anything like last week, he has to be benched for the rest of the season. I really think this kid is lost right now and it will do him no good to play during this mess

26CornerBlitz
10-12: John Murphy & Mark Kelso Preview Bills at Texans on WBEN (6:17) NOW: John Murphy & Mark Kelso preview #GoBills and #Titans Murphy: #Bills are going up against a talented team. Houston has a high-powered offense led by DeShaun Watson. I think their 2-3 record is deceptive. Kelso: DeAndre Hopkins is a tough opponent. You have to make every bit of the route difficult to him. With Watson, you can't let him out of the pocket. If you don't maintain your lanes, he'll hurt you. Murphy: Derek Anderson has only been with the team for a couple of days. He's the third QB for now with Peterman at No. 2. His role is to be a mentor to Josh Allen, similar to what he did with Cam Newton. Kelso: Trade rumors are difficult to deal with. I'm sure McCoy has had conversations about whether they're true. He's the best offensive weapon the Bills have. You wouldn't think the Bills were interested in getting rid of him but other teams are interested. Murphy: Trade deadline is 4 p.m. on October 30. I hope McCoy isn't traded because the Bills need him. But if deal is too good, you have to be open to it. Bills are in the driver's seat here. 26CornerBlitz
Fan Mailbag: What's the top matchup? What's next for the passing game? The primo matchup in Sunday’s game was a prevailing query from Bills fans this week as was the state of Buffalo’s passing game. It’s readily apparent that you want to see more from Josh Allen and the passing game, but it’s clear that the offensive staff wants to take a methodical approach when it comes to putting more on the rookie quarterback’s plate. Not to mention the fact that this might be the most talented pass rush the Bills will see until they face Chicago in three weeks. Let’s get rolling with your questions this week. 26CornerBlitz
Bleak times for Giants; Fitzgerald backs Rosen; Kelce connection As the 2018 NFL season rolls on into Week 6, NFL.com's network of reporters collects the hottest news and notes from across the league. HOUSTON TEXANS: Secondary standing up. A week after Andrew Luck ripped the Texans' defensefor 464 passing yards, Houston's secondary responded with an impressive -- and historic -- performance in their 19-16 overtime win against the intrastate rival Cowboys on Sunday. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph, a 13th-year pro, moved into the top 10 on the NFL's all-time list in passes defensed. Fellow corner Kareem Jackson became the franchise's all-time interceptions leader, with 15. Rookie safety Justin Reid snagged his first pick. And one play after Dallas QB Dak Prescott made an incredible Houdini-like escape from J.J. Watt, allowing him to complete a 44-yard pass to Tavon Austinlate in the fourth quarter, star safety Tyrann Mathieu stepped up to kill the Cowboys' momentum. With a signature Mathieu tackle, he stopped Ezekiel Elliottfor a 4-yard loss, and Dallas settled for a tying field goal rather than scoring a potential go-ahead touchdown. "I thought we made the plays when it mattered the most tonight," Mathieu told me after the game. He added, "We just really wanted to get off to a fast start to start the second quarter of the season, and I thought we did that." Joseph told me he was more excited about the win, the Texans' second overtime victory in a row after a disappointing 0-3 start to the season, than any individual accomplishment. And as Houston heads into a home date with the Bills on Sunday, now with a 2-3 record, Joseph said he's hopeful the Texans can sustain this momentum, saying, "that's how the NFL works, a lot of highs and lows. You've got to be able to ride the wave, and then sometimes when you ride that wave and catch it, you've really got to ride it and, hey, hopefully we're riding this wave right now." -- Omar Ruiz As Buffalo heads to Houston for Sunday’s game to take on the Texans, the Bills will be an underdog by a touchdown more for the fifth time in just six weeks. As of Friday, Houston is favored by 10 points against Buffalo, according to Vegas Insider. The Texans are riding high right now after back-to-back wins and quarterback Deshaun Watson is starting to get his confidence back. Not to mention, Houston is playing at home.
