Bump stocks illegal yet? That's where I go straight to. It's a compromised way to start. "Ban the bump stocks." Those in power said they would.

I think there is more truth to your wife's nutritionist than many people want to admit. I find it difficult to grasp that I can throw a rock in any direction and hit a person who has/had cancer, or knows someone right now who has cancer.  It seems simple to me that step one should be to clean your food intake.

 

Nothing processed. No more fast food, sodas, canned this or jarred that. Just clean food.

 

Anecdotal, I understand, but the results have been simply amazing through my lens, starting with my wife, who has all but eliminated migraines and back pain almost exclusively by changing her diet to healthy foods and removing gluten.

 

Plus, think about it; why would you NOT eat clean?

This is why people are strarting to realize the plan is to take all guns.

 

Wacked out teenager shoots people with a shot gun. Solution: ban something that had nothing to do with the event and blame people who don't do as you say.

Law enforcement that's emasculated and completely unable to stop anyone from doing anything if they REALLY want to do it.

Oh, I don't know. School counselors DOING THEIR JOB and reporting kids at high risk for this kind of thing to the authorities who would then, if their families have legal weapons, be able to report that kind of information back to the school.

 

That'd be a step.

 

I'm sure the teachers unions won't support that, though. Too much like work.

And it would be deemed racist, bacause a disproportionate amount of young black students are involved in violent behavior in school...

banning guns/weapons is clearly not the answer. sorry to call those who do think that naive, but that is what you are. this is not a gun, bump stock, shotgun problem. this is a people problem. this is the example of poor parenting, social media, internet and the 24 hour news circus.  technology has warped the minds of many. it has been abused just as drugs and alcohol have. it starts in the home but the problem there is the home is not what it used to be. it is either single parents or both working who can not control the kids who come home and sit on their ass with a game pad in hand playing video games or with their nose in a device where they have total access to the internet and see and read everything, I mean everything.

 

it all starts at home.

 

this of course is just my opinion/observation,  but I see no end in sight and it's going to get a hell of a lot worse.  the days of leave it to beaver are far gone and don't be surprised in the near future (10-20 years or sooner) it will be a world like that of mad max.

Dogs trained to sniff out weapons at the door.

Not nearly as expensive as other alternatives, and very effective.

 

Not that hard to assign a dog or two per school and take care of it.

I don't understand why you would advocate for expansion teams to go through the multi-year struggles of being uncompetitive and unwatchable. That certainly doesn't serve building up the new market and it doesn't serve the opposing markets that have to be subjected to unentertaining garbage hockey. The Vegas model is a success. It should be copied when another expansion team is brought into the league.

You got it wrong. It's not about socialism as it is a smart business model. It's about the exceptional execution of plan that was instituted by millionaire and billionaire owners whose sole ideology revolves around making more money.

While the NHLPA makes sure the players are rightly compensated through the CBA that includes a pension plan.
