bufrock j
new OC runs the system he ran in college, could end up being best of bunch and keeping all those picks could fill out a roster with alot of holes. maybe even trade back one pick and shoot for extra RD1 next year

george c
This may have been the plan all along. Unless there is certainty that The other three are sure bets, trading away great draft spots is not worth it. ‘We will see, because I am sure the 2nd choice is still an option if Beane wants to go that way.. Green Lightning
My guess is that Jackson may just be where we end up. Even so, we'll likley need to use pick 12 to do it. He may not grade out to that high a pick but you just have to overpay for a QB these days.
MC Hamburg
What if the Browns take Jackson...with Tyrod as there QB.... their playing styles would be the same and the offensive philosofy would not change....just a thought Edited March 18, 2018 by MC Hamburg

Fetou
Just now, Chicken Boo said: No. He's not. More productive, infinitely more athletic, better adjusted completion percentage, better adjusted YPA, better level of competition in college, more pro-ready offense, and made large improvements from 2016 to 2017. Josh Allen on the other hand regressed and had a bad year at Wyoming.

RPbillsfan
This is exactly the pathway the Bills should take. Stay at 12, take Lamar Jackson. Let him develop more physically and learn the offense. Play him in certain packages to get him time in game situations. Use 22 for a top linebacker such as Leighton Vander Esch or Rasean Evans. Use 53 and 56 on OL and WR Use 65 and 96 on CB and DT Six potential contributors at position of need and how do the Bills look in relation to the Jets and Dolphins. 2

Mat68
This is becoming a strong possibility. I Could see Buffalo taking Jackson at 12 trading up from 22 for one of linebakers. This may be a better option then trading 6 picks for rosen.

Not even going to get into the talent disparity between Wyoming and Louisville, you know - the excuse we always hear for Lamar when comparing him to the top prospects this year. You guys really need to stop with this adjusted completetion % ****. I've never heard that excuse so much in my entire life until this season. We'll see what the league thinks about who the better prospect is. Then we'll see who has the better career.
peterpan
good review on Allen and Jackson. The stuff about jackson being innaccurate are just.... inaccurate. I think he misses a lot of passes due to mental issues, just like Allen, moreso that physical limitations.

Yeah, so you don't know what you are talking about. Our exchange can stop here and we will wait on your last sentence. For everyone else, the offensive talent Jackson had to work with at Louisville relative to the defensive competition he was facing is way worse than the same measure for Wyoming. WideRightRevenge
I'm not sure I'd take Jackson over Allen .. but agree with sitting tight ... if it took 3 2's to move 3 spots up ... imagine what we'd have to pay to jump the Jets for picks 1 or 2 ... no thanks ... given there is no "clear cut" #1 QB of this class ... sit tight. Good thing they're no longer in college, isn't it. No more heismans for Lamar. You're obviously a fan so I'm sure you've seen his pathetic numbers against the SEC. 49% completion 9 TDs 9 Ints and a 3-4 record. Guess what awaits him in the NFL? Teams better than Miss. St., I promise you. *insert obligatory adjusted completion % and how Louisville is talent dificient* Edited March 18, 2018 by Chicken Boo
BillsFan2313
I said this in another thread. My gut feeling all along had been the Bills love Lamar Jackson. When they moved up to 12, I switched to thinking they are trading up again. After the Jets trade to 3, I believe my gut feeling was right. The Bills moved up to 12 for Jackson. Another trade up to get Roquan Smith would be amazing.
