Well certainly we need a separate thread for ALL the State of the Union Addresses this Tuesday, oh didn't you hear..........there will be several.

Main Event:

The Donald....................  will be taking credit for  everything good happening......( just like every President before him)

Of course the media coverage (much of which has already been written) will concentrate on all the "important" issues

-- who wore black

-- how many "standing ovations"

-- What color tie did he wear.

-- Who sat next to Melania

God forbid they would actually just listen to the speech and cover it honestly............

So far I have read about three other "response" addresses

.Congressman Joseph Kennedy III of Massachusetts, a rising star in the Democratic party widely expected to run for the Senate when a seat opens, will deliver the party’s State of the Union response.

(Nothing says we are really the party of the people, like having a Kennedy speak).................rich, white, privileged male, but EVERY story about his response has called him a "rising star"

ehhh................let me know when he drowns a girl, then I'll know he's a real democrat.

Wow, more tone deaf than I am -- and I've actually been asked not to sing out loud at Church.

N YU students comment on Trump's SOTU speech a tad early:

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=10442

Wanting to find out, Campus Reform headed to New York University to ask students their opinions of President Trump’s State of the Union. The only problem for them was that the speech would not take place for another seven days…

Would that stop them from giving strong, condemnatory opinions on the speech?

Another entry................................lol

Shannon Watts is planning a “Resistance” response to the State of the Union

Gun control advocate Shannon Watts, who is best known for her role at Moms Demand Action, has taken up a new cause: getting the liberal media to pay attention to the “Resistance.”

CNN hasn’t said it will give #TheResistance the same on-air opportunity to respond after the #SOTUSOTU_2018.png  they gave the Tea Party in 2011

Here’s what her petition says:

Tell CNN to air a State of Union response from The Resistance

After the election of Donald Trump, The Resistance – led mainly by women – became a movement of citizen activists opposing the harmful policies of the Trump administration. Women who have never engaged deeply with the political process before have been driven to take action. They’re starting new advocacy and candidate training organizations, and they’re running for office in record numbers.

We call on CNN and other news networks to air a response from The Resistance after the State of the Union on January 30.

Translations: The liberal media should allow Watts and her cronies to partake in commentary because they’re supposed to be on the same side.
