NewEra Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Thanks for posting this. Awesome read so far and just what I was looking for. Is there one on the linebackers? Really hope we can add the captain of the offense and defense in this offseason
Doc Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 I'm waiting on the Combine data. Height, weight, ball speed, hand size, etc.

Westside Madness Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 cloudfront.net being in the URL...yeah, I am not clicking on that. A Google search on that yielded some mixed results.

Westside Madness Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Ahh, just seems like a lot going on in that URL. You know you can just post the .pdf here right?

K-9 Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 (edited) When you say, “draft qb analysis”, does that mean there is a final qb analysis forthcoming? And if the draft is excellent, how much better can the final version really be? Edited January 17, 2018 by K-9
Da webster guy Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Nice post. I'd love to see a factor in there that took into consideration pass rush (time allowed before throw, quality of pocket/protection) correlated with receiver separation and whether or not the qb had a clear lane to see or were they looking over linemen when they made the throws. Yeah, yeah I know, it's asking a lot, but there's a lot at stake. Either way Lualetta was a surprise from what I knew about him previously. Impressive metrics-- based off this analysis anyway.
billspro Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 My takes: I need to watch some of Lualetta's games, Mayfield is awesome, and Josh Allens bust potential seems even higher.
Richard Noggin Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Obviously Mayfield looks great through this lens of analysis. Rudolph doesn't look too shabby, either. Allen looks like a physically talented mess. And thanks for posting. No wonder this isn't inspiring tons of responses. It is thoughtful, empirical, emotionless, etc.

Thurman#1 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Holy cow! Man, that was too long and rich for me, but well worth a skim. The surprise to me was how well Mayfield came out of the comparisons, but he's not being compared to guys like Darnold. Very interesting. Thanks for posting it.

I have been saying all along that Rudolph is going to be a steal and what I have read from many articles they have been talking about how Allen could end up a big bust and I agree. Mayfield is special for sure IMO. .
