It's refreshing to see some who don't subscribe to revisionist history. It was AWFUL for this D and frankly I'm surprised they did as well as they did. The top of the list will likely stay where they are and many of the rest will have the luxury of signing for real contenders. Pettine basically ran Rex's 3-4 or a close enough version of it, the following year he had to draft/sign for Schwartz wide-9 4-3, the year after that he had to go back to drafting for Rex's 3-4. It was an annual top-to-bottom overhaul. He only made 3.5 this year..I didn't know it was Ryan that didn't want him..makes sense because Rexie had Mario Williams often drop back into pass coverage...
