McDermott chewed him out. He’s a hitter though and filled in admirably when Poyer was hurt. Elston was really productive in the SEC as well. That’s the kind of young guy that you want as a reserve. There are guys that are much more expendable players on that team (see: Tolbert, Mike). Pitts is worse, Thomas too and so is McDermott off the top of my head.
