Seriously?? I think both of these guys have something left in the tank for the short-term. They could be a rental to plug some holes and get us to the playoffs, but we don't do anything? The Pats do this all the time. Save a player from the NFL scrapheap and put them in a position to contribute with a good scheme and coaching. SF is higher in the waiver order right now than the Bills, so they had no ability to get Marsh. They could have claimed Freeney though, it appears.
