Hello left field

Who the hell said the US would pay for their surgery? F$#$ Never mind. Someone was "thinking" again. His initials are DJT

The Pentagon ended its ban on openly transgender people serving in the U.S. military last year under Democratic President Barack Obama's administration. It was expected to start allowing transgender people to begin enlisting this year, provided they had been "stable" in their preferred gender for 18 months.

So you're down w the tranny soldiers ?

Honestly, who cares about this? In our hyperpolitical world, things got political. Not shocked. Not surprised. Trump made some comments about the morals and ideals of scouts, praised them, praised their parents as well, but of course, who cares about that.

6 Presidents in 80 years actually bothered to show up at all to this thing.

String up Trump!

Don't mind ben. He's very sensitive.

You're not wrong: It is newsworthy when Trump acts like a president should. Edited by Benjamin Franklin

If he or she can shoot a gun at an enemy why should it matter?

KLINGER !!!!!

The problem simple: as a man you can claim/be a woman (just by saying so) and the services have to hold you to the female standards for the physical testing. Meaning, men who weren't strong enough or fit enough to serve can get in by using the female standards.

There's several. Google it.

They're hyping up the "unisex" nature of urinal-less heads when it comes to reconfiguring berthing spaces for different genders. But the bigger issue is maintenance: urinals on a ship turn out to be much more difficult to maintain (for salt-water related reasons). Most of the carriers are reconfigured during their maintenance cycles to have the urinals removed for that reason; the Ford's just the first one to be designed and built without them.

The U.S. Navy has decided on a new form of berth control.

The USS Gerald R. Ford — the newest U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, and the first in its class of ships — is ditching urinals, introducing “gender neutral” bathrooms.

Each sleeping quarter — what the Navy calls a berthing area — will have traditional porcelain bowls in the heads (or bathrooms) of the newly designed aircraft carrier, which can hold over 5,000 sailors.

I couldn't believe that story having served on a destroyer

I've got a feeling they're going to find a whole lot more maintenance issues because of this.
