C.Biscuit97
I remember some folks here insisting we should draft him on day 2. If someone could bump that thread, it would be a classic. Normally if you can't make it in college, you're not going to make it in the real world.
CBD
I remember some folks here insisting we should draft him on day 2. I'm guilty of this, they drafted Cyril Richardson, Randell Johnson and Seantrel Henderson instead, really dodged a bullet. Acantha
If someone could bump that thread, it would be a classic. Normally if you can't make it in college, you're not going to make it in the real world. I think in these situations someone with character issues can be worth the loss of a pick if it doesn't work out. A few of them were drafted again this year and always will be. Just because a team takes them (or a fan wants a team to take them) doesn't mean they saying that player is guaranteed to succeed. Just that at that point it becomes worth the gamble. And as far as I remember, most were talking about 4th -7th round...but it's been awhile.
Billzgobowlin
If the police can't contain him, I doubt the Patriots could either. Sign him! Don't convicts usually sign with the Pats?

If I run into a Colton Cayerla I will approach with caution. .....sounds like a pretty intelligent fellow............... Lyerla was two months into a six-month sentence for heroin possession.Lyerla now faces a second-degree felony charge for escaping custody and will be ineligible to return to a minimum-security facility. Speedy Beebe
Don't convicts usually sign with the Pats? I think the Pats release convicts. The Bengals seems to sign them. We'd just lose him the following year to the Patriots offer sheet. Probably so.... but maybe we would get a comp pick out of it?
