I'll be the first to admit: sometimes this administration accomplishes useful things. This is now turning into a slow, step-by-step process that may marginalize the Palestinian factions that refuse to agree that Israel has a right to exist. It is not Carter-Begin-Sadat's Camp David Accord, but at least the process is in place again.

It's a brilliant gambit to eliminate the funding support of the factions.  The Palestinians were always pawns in the bigger regional game, and now they will have no choice but to negotiate a true treaty.

KSA will likely be the next to sign on ... and if/when that happens, it will be a tremendous shift in the region.

KSA has put themselves into an interesting position. The King apparently stated last week to Trump that there would be no normalization without a Palestinian state.

So either the report is untrue, or they're going to have to do some backpedaling if they publicly make peace.

Notice  none of the typical idiots in this thread since these agreements were announced, except for Niagara Bill and he doesn't count since he is a Canadian.

So you are suggesting Nixon and Reagan were not successful republicans in the world diplomacy. That is the definition.

Politics, like man, act in concrete situations not merely from a set philosophy. Unless you think the USSR still exists, and China is a 3rd world nation.

Reads like medieval heresy without the imprimatur of the media.

5G by Huawei done in the EU? It will make it more difficult for China to steal intellectual property and ideas without an open source.

However, as per expectations, economic growth has not opened the Chinese market. German companies operating in China have been forced to hand over technology by the Chinese government.

France and the United Kingdom have begun freezing Chinese telecom giant Huawei out of their 5G networks.
