Vernon Davis, tight endThe tight end will probably come at the veteran's minimum or something close to it after a disappearing act in 2015. This was not all Vernon Davis' doing, however. In-season trades, especially to teams running three different offenses that are, at times, quarterbacked by Peyton Manning, are extremely difficult to navigate. Davis was simply lost in the shuffle, and it happens to the best of them. While his production has been on the decline for two years now, he's not that far removed from a 13-touchdown season. In the right offense, he might be able to have a James Jones-type career resurgence. Not sure why...i think Roddy has a little left in the tank but is not what the Bills need. Roddy was always first class and dealt with his demotion about as good as he could. I love how he signed that so quick and didn't try to hold out and risk some type of injury in the off season. I wonder after JPP if you see a lot of guys signing so they at least guarantee that cash. The Suh deal definitely looked like it was set up for a restructure this season. His salary ($23.5M) and cap hits ($28.6M) are astronomical for anything other than an elite QB.
