Fans on this board will never agree on anything. Tyrod's stats place him in the top 10 in the league and still that's not good enough. Fans here are looking for a guy that never misses an open receiver, never throws a pick and never makes a mistake. Good luck with that folks. IMO Tyrod has had an above average season. Is he perfect? No. Is he the problem with why this team has a losing record? Absolutely not. The reason we suck can be summed up in three words. Coaching, Coaching. Coaching.

He can throw a good deep ball, doesn't turn the ball over often, and can extend plays with this legs.

But, he's not very good at the short/quick passing game, and that's stalled many drives. He's young, and gaining experience. He'll need to improve, but he's certainly shown more good than bad so far!

Bills' offense went from 21 to 24 PPG between 2014 and 2015.

Bills' defense went from 18 to 23 PPG between 2014 and 2015.

I think Tyrod is the guy, until they find someone better. And they need to keep looking and not stand pat because of Tyrod's injury potential and as a backup plan in case he does not continue to improve.

So your issue within TT is that he's not one of those 4 guys? OK, accident of birth, I suppose. He is still the best that the Bills have had in decades. And he hasn't competed a full season yet. He has to improve, but I doubt that he will be one of those top 4 guys ever. He was supposed to be a caretaker because the Bills had a "historically" (hysterically?) good defense and a running game that would carry the team. Neither has been there to support the team. Which is the real issue, truthfully.

So name the guy that will put this team on his shoulders and will them to the promised land. Describe how the Bills will magically acquire this messiah. And then tell us how the rest of the team won't blow it with penalties, turnovers and utter stupidity on a weekly basis.

I didnt start the 4 qb thing. John did. I said he is just another qb

You mean like holding penalties and false starts? Bad Tyrod, bad.

This is juvenile.

"Coaching" is this year's "play calling".

Max you're pissing in the wind. Tryhard's fan club will never be able to see his glaring faults through their misty eyes. Just have to accept that two years from now we'll be looking for YET ANOTHER QB.

yup

...and Nick Foles threw 27 TDs and had 2 ints, 2800 yards, 64 % completion rate, 119 QB rating and an 8-2 record in his second year, yet few people thought he was a good QB.

Look TT is the best QB the Bills have had in a number of years but he is far from a franchise QB and the Bills should upgrade if possible in the offseason.

TT isnt the problem and he has really progressed as the season went on. On a side note- one play TT was trying to extend the play and was looking downfield- Sammy never came back for the ball and didnt help him out. He better learn that and to catch passes in stride. Damn he falls down alot!

What both ways?

QBs need to be able to complete the crucial 10-12 yard pass on 3rd and 8 but Tyrod seems to really struggle with that which is a big reason why this offense is so bad on third down

Helpful hint; give it up

This post is about Tyrod

EVERY thread is about EJ!

IMO, better QB play wins the NE game and the game yesterday. The Jax game gets won if TT plays. I think the Bills should be at least 9-4 right now with better QB play, so yes TT is part of the problem. The crap defense doesnt help the cause but this team needs better QB play.

Bringing up the penalty issue in this thread is entirely besides the point. All the penalties aside TT had a golden chance to take the team down the field for a win and he failed.....again. With regard to critiquing him, that's all that matters. He may end up being a QB who can lead a team to the playoffs but he's not there yet. I'm not even sure he's close.

Tyrod has played well enough to go into camp next year as the starter. The Bills should be choosing the best QB available with any of their picks in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. If somehow the team determines their is a franchise QB available in the 1st round of the draft at their pick they should be taking him. If not, and there is a QB rated at or above their 2nd or 3rd pick they should be taking him. QB is the most important position that they are missing right now. Tyrod may show that he is a franchise QB as soon as next season, but he hasn't yet. Having too many good QBs is a problem the Bills would like to have. They also should be looking for a veteran to be the backup who could win a couple of games should Tyrod get hurt.

Agreed. I have no problem pulling the trigger on a QB should one fall to Buffalo. I also hope Tyrod is the answer.
