KDIGGZ
Great timing. Tony Romo is back and will start vs the Dolphins. Bad news for Matt Cassel who might have played his way out of the league for good Ed Werder @Edwerderespn 1h 1 hour ago As expected, source says recent tests indicate Tony Romo fractured left collarbone has healed. As for Sunday vs #Dolphins, "He will play." Edited November 16, 2015 by kdiggz

John from Riverside
Well....so much for holding him out this season and not having to play him..... oh well......
metzelaars_lives
If I'm the Cowboys, I don't even dream of playing Romo this season. They are (were) actually in a pretty enviable position. Embrace the tank, draft a QB top 5 and groom him under Romo for the next two years. It would have been an absolutely ideal situation. This whole 'the Cowboys are still in it at 2-7' thing is nonsense. They're not winning that division. They weren't even playing that well before Romo got hurt. Makes zero sense. Not to mention, the dude is like my age and injury prone as it is. Edited November 16, 2015 by metzelaars_lives
Maddog69
There is an excellent chance he is re-injured and not playing by the time we have them in late December.
mannc
There is an excellent chance he is re-injured and not playing by the time we have them in late December. Correct. Jerry's organization has a history of rushing Romo back into the lineup before he is medically ready to return. This would appear to be another instance of it, and for no good reason. Doc
There is an excellent chance he is re-injured and not playing by the time we have them in late December. This. And equally likely is they realize they're out of it and shut him down for the season sometime before the game.
dpberr
The Cowboys are idiots. They have nothing to play for this season but draft slot to fix that defense. He'll run out there and get broken. Again.
r00tabaga
The NFC EAST sucks this year, they are not out of it. Very much alive actually.

metzelaars_lives
The NFC EAST sucks this year, they are not out of it. Very much alive actually. No they're not. Everyone keeps saying this but it's not true. The Giants do not suck. They are going to finish 9-7. The Cowboys already have 7 losses and they don't even have that easy of a schedule the rest of the way. They would pretty much have to go 7-0. They weren't even playing that well with Romo. It's over for the 2015 Cowboys. The Cowboys are idiots. They have nothing to play for this season but draft slot to fix that defense. He'll run out there and get broken. Again. Or better yet, they take a QB top 5 to groom under Romo. Their defense is actually playing well.

When your division leader isn't over .500, your division sucks. This applies to NFC East and AFC South Are the Giants a better team than us? Probably. Will they win the division? Probably. But if I was Dallas and only 2.5 games behind NY, I would give Romo one or two starts until the light completely goes out.
