And in an earlier Sabres game, a Sabre kicked the puck towards the net, it went off the opponent's skate an in the net, but was disallowed. Why? He is the prototypical BIG goalie that Murray likes...but Lehner is also known to be a bit of a nutcase. Think Murray was thinking longer term on Lehner, with this year being his learning year so to speak. Someone had to explain it to me as well. It's about protecting goalies from sharp blades, but I think they take it to extremes. GO SABRES!!!
