Speaking of linemates, has there ever been another line composed of three #1 overall draft picks within five years? If Edmonton ever gets a goalie and decent defensemen, watch out.

We can dress a line of 3 2nd overall picks.

Analytics compare the starts of McDavid, Eichel and Domi

For the first time since 2005, the NHL has welcomed two rookies with possibly generational talent in Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel, but another rookie has been stealing headlines early in the season.

Max Domi has been a revelation in Arizona, teaming up with former Canadian World Juniors teammate Anthony Duclair to create a potent offense on a team that was expected to be in the NHL’s basement.

Sabres' Bylsma: "We’re in the beginning stages ... but I think it’s real clear we’re better in certain areas." http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/11/03/sabres-bylsma-its-real-clear-were-better-in-certain-areas/

The Sabres are starting to digest Bylsma's teachings http://bit.ly/1MflS3z

October review: What we've learned about the 2015-16 Sabres

Connor McDavid is on pace to score 35 goals and 82 points :o:o:o

I do think Eichel is an all around better player, but McDavid is a scoring machine. He will put up crazy numbers for years to come, hopefully he stays in Edmonton to a very long time...

Dan Bylsma didn't expect Zach Bogosian to be out this long and is still not sure when the defenseman will be back. http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2015/11/03/still-no-timetable-for-return-of-sabres-bogosian/
