Ralph Wilson Stadium questions

1. No one has ever sat in the rockpile, however they have stood there, or passed out there

2. If I had to choose one of those three id go Giants. I like to see my team win (Giants will be hot garbage) and the jets game will have weather and the possibility of one or both teams result being irrelevant

1. Anyone ever sit in the Rockpile? How is it there?

2. Which game should I go to? I can go to either the Patriots, Giants, or Jets game. Which would you go to?

I have 6 seats in 241. It's great when the play is in that end. Not so great when it's on the tunnel end. But you just watch the video screens.

As for what game to go to, keep in mind that the opener (Colts,) Pats and Giants games are going to all sell out before tickets even go on sale to the general public. Same for the Cowboys and probably Dolphins. So you better know someone with season tickets to buy some for you in July, or settle on seeing the Bengals or Texans, probably the two least important home games this year.

If you can scream really loud and bring great intensity, come to the Pats* game! It is going to be absolutely electric after winning the home opener. If you're the quieter type, you may be better suited for the Giants game.

I sat in the rock pile two times. The home opener the year after the music city miracle when they played the titans. Went with my wife. She had beer spilled on her all night and people smoking weed around us. And in 2005 when the falcons were in town. A person got stabbed a section over from me. Depending on the crowd you want to be around you can make your own choice. But I'll never sit there again. I'll spend more on a seat not to have to deal with that.

Yeah. There is no weed there. The instant any sign of smoke of any kind and security swarms. haven't witnessed a possibility of stabbing In the past 10 years, just a few small fights in my section.

It's definitely a rougher crowd, and being next to the a-hole lottery has greater odds... but I don't have too much urge to move

Yea, I am not buying the whole stabbing thing. I do not sit in Rockpile cause I don't like the view and prefer upper deck if I can't get lowers,' buts it's not cause I am worried about ruffians !

Is it true they will not allow you to bring binoculars into The Raph?

binoculars are allowed......as long as they are not filled with booze. they will check.

The stabbing happened. I was at that game too. The smell of bleach (or some cleaning agent) was really strong afterwards. In the same game, a woman in a Michael Vick jersey was moved to a different section because of the abuse she was getting. It started off as the whole section chanting "Vick has herpes!" The chanting quickly changed "You have herpes" while people wwre getting real close to her and aggressively pointing and putting their hands near her face. It was brutal.

I've never smelled weed in the section though, and I had season tickets there from 2004-2009.

I really don't remember that, and was no one helping this woman out? Was she really only wearing a jersey and it escalated like that? That is just so sad if true....I havve never seen anything like that at a game.

She was jawing back at fans but that was about it, as far as I could see. Nothing deserving the treatment she got.

I only remember seeing her escorted out by security, not anyone else.

I have seen mothers with their kids get verbally abused in the parking lot just for that. Sadly that's all it takes for some drunk pussies.

Wearing jerseys of division rivals to The Ralph when we're not playing that team has always been a no-no.

I think it was the Cleveland game last year when someone rolled in wearing a Pats jersey. Mistake.

Nothing for nothing but why is that a mistake? If they are there to enjoy a football game but not wearing a Jersey attached to one of the teams why would they need to pay a price? I live in Delaware and go to one bills home game a year but when I go to games with friends that are skins or ravens fans I wear my bills gear. I'm a bills fan why should I have to fear other fans.

Trash talk is one thing and you can tell if a person is just joking but people take being a fan a little to serious sometimes.

And plezmd the stabbing absolutely happened. You don't have to buy it but it did happen. I'm sure it made a police beat in the local paper. But I was there and saw it. I really have zero reason to lie on a fan forum.

The poster wanted opinions of the rock pile I was giving him my experience.

I was at that falcons game sitting in 100s just below the rockpile. There were tons of fights at that game. Crowd was odd. Some one stole my Hoodie when I went to the bathroom. Never saw a crowd like that one at a bills game.

I sat in the rockpile at the Chiefs game last year. Crowd was very quiet. But like others have said when the action is in front of you its great but when it's on the other side I was watching on the scoreboards

It's not just the Ralph that people with other team colors get harassed. Went to Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills game in Arrowhead and was wearing my Bills gear (so was my wife). The crowd around us started by making rude remarks, then as they got drunker it escalated to yelling at us, then to throwing things at us, then pushing us. They started closing in on us like Zombies. We got out of there and left the stadium. We got catcalls all the way out.
