Colorado Mike Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 How far is the stadium from the airport? 32 miles, 38 minutes according to MapQuest (http://www.mapquest.com/#bcd3e5564aa94df213603c4b), but allow more time than that. The I70 route is the one I recommend. The airport (DIA) is pretty far out there in the hinterlands. You'll be approaching from north to south on I25, so just before you get to the stadium there's a hotel where the Colorado Bills Backers are holding a pregame tailgate. You can google them for more details. Not sure if we'll be going to that or not at this point. Also, the night before they are having a party at Lodo's Bar and Grill (the downtown one). Safe travels! We're doing the full Colorado Bills Backers program, Lodos Saturday party, Sunday tailgate near the stadium, etc. Definitely check the CBB Facebook page if you're going, great group with lotsa good tips... Craigslist is full of them, but I suspect that there a number of scams out there too. If anyone knows of someone selling 4, shoot me a note. There is a good chance members of the Buffalo media will join us. It's a large bar, and the rooftop patio will probably be open too (with heaters) so we expect to be able to pack you all in pretty comfortably. Sunday Tailgate Party at Hotel VQ parking lot which is right next to the stadium (North side), 11am start, $30 unlimited Labatts and food (bring ID), $15 unlimited food only (soft drinks too).
