KDIGGZ
Sammy will learn from this. I don't think he's that type of player at all. He should easily win OROY, I don't know who else is close at this point

I think Sammy has meant more to this team though plus I think he will pull away in the 2nd half. Probably end up the only rookie WR with over 1000 yards Edited October 29, 2014 by kdiggz

Probably end up the only rookie WR with 1000 yards Somehow think benjamin will be able to eke out another 400 yards over his last 8 games. He's having a great season and looks like the real deal too. KDIGGZ
I remember in the beginning of the year people were projecting Sammy to have like 700-800 yards and they said that would be a very good rookie season. And I was like uhhh if he doesn't have 1000 yards I will be shocked. He is a very talented receiver and he is exceeding even my expectations. Is he worth 2 first round picks? I don't know if any receiver is. But I am glad to have him

buffaloboyinATL
He had 157 yards. Know how long it takes a Jets receiver to get 157 yards? 3 YEARS!!!

But if any receiver in the past 10 years is, it's him or Calvin Johnson.
Doc
Orton throws a better ball than Newton. Look how much better Steve smith is doing with flacco. Smith is on-pace to duplicate his 2011 season, which was his first with Newton. And Sammy's only had Orton throwing to him for the last 4 games. Doc
Projecting Sammy's stats with Orton out for the rest of the season, he'd theoretically finish with 80 catches for 1,376 yards and 12 TD's (I'll give him an extra TD because he won't make the same mistake again). The guy looks half Hines Ward or half Steve Johnson. Jekyl/Hyde.

Kelly the Dog
Sammy is amazing after the catch. That may be his greatest strength out of ten strengths. The 61 yarder was just sick. Besides playing with a fractured rib, which limited Sammy's explosion, EJ is a decent passer but he doesn't usually hit guys with hard passes right in stride. That may even be his biggest weakness. Orton, however, is very good at that. As evidenced in the last few weeks. The YAC for Watkins are going to explode.
