He has no response just spouts out some BS. "Gray" is intervention, it's what we did in Syria (support to rebels), and it was a huge disaster. Lybia too. You do realize Russia has been the one pulling the strings in Syria, correct? More specifically the amount of money the Russians make selling arms to Assad and propping him up. The US isn't the only one in the region playing both sides and any analysis that omits that fact is pretty superficial, wouldn't you agree? Not only that, just think of the technology since 9/11. Drones to be specific. Imagine the damage that could be done on American soil if the insane radicals bulldozing Iraq eventually got a hold of this technology and eventually used it to produce a mass attack on America. What do you mean "if"? It's not a matter of if but when. Drone technology is not and will not ever be exclusively American. Might take a decade or two but it won't be long before a lot of countries have a well armed, and cheaply maintained, drone capabilities. Hell, Joe Schmoe could buy a drone off the internet today and probably do something pretty destructive with it if he were so inclined. Every time there is an advancement in weaponry the other side (whoever that may be at any given time) eventually gets their own versions -- most built and paid for by our own military industrial complex -- which are turned against the inventors. There's been an arms agreement between the 2 governments for years, just like US and Israelis. So by your logic, when a Palestinean uprising is brutally crushed by Israelis, the appropriate Russian response is to send arms, training, and equipment to Palestineans?
