I have a few friends that hiked the whole traIl and they tell me of the "trail magic". People take care the hikers, and sometimes leave fresh baked pies at a shelter, or cold beers in a stream. LewPort71 Posted September 14, 2013 Author Share Posted September 14, 2013 We are very proud of them and am back in SWV now. After completing the trail we vacationed in Bar Harbor ME. Instead of 'trail' magic, they enjoyed 'lobster' magic. While in Maine, we came within 10 feet of hitting a moose on the road. We were looking on the rhside of the road and she came from the left. Friend is a truck driver and has told me about the extesive damage one of them can do to a truck. Can only imagine how bad the damage would be on a car.
