run dat back Posted September 12, 2013 Share Posted September 12, 2013 If you're going to redesign the logo, REALLY redesign it. Get rid of the stripe altogether. I always thought the stripe was kinda stupid to begin with. Sure, the logo looks OK with it, but it's still an oddity. I also don't understand the love for the standing buffalo. It looks so passive. In fact, it looks like the buffalo is dead. There is nothing dynamic about it. If I was going to redesign, I'd take the Sabres' red black and white buffalo head as a starting point and work on that kind of concept. Or UB's logo for that matter. In retrospect, that may be difficult to convey in such a small space. That made me spit out coffee. So true softer lavender....kind of sad but soft and lavender are comments that encapsulate this team perfectly.
