ALLEN1QB
Kohb is history! Can't wait to see him again. Hats off to coaches. Team was so ready.
CountryCletus
I hope like heck Tuel sticks around... We can have some serious fun with this name!! Â More than we already are, I should say...

Phil Hansen Forever
When was the last time any of our QBs looked remotely good? Frank Reich?
Tiberius
Tuel looked great against an unprepared set of 3rd stringers. Â I haven't been this excited about a QB since Rob Johnson!
Miyagi-Do Karate
  I agree and also think our Pick 6 should have been down by contact. Really poor officiating  Agree completely. a novice would have gotten those right.
mrags
I'm watching the game now in DVR and he is certainly impressive so far. Â I'm going to say it. He makes Kolb dispensable. Not only that, he will make a case that he should at least get a shot before the end of pre season that he gets in there with the 1s at least once to see what he's got. bills1960
The best thing about the Tuel situation is that it shows how effective our new GM's scouting ability is. He was no fluke, if you remember Tuel was the only QB for a while (if not for the whole offseason) that was brought in for a private workout IN Buffalo. So who knows what he'll develop into but I think he speaks to Doug Whaley's ability to scouts.
KRT88
This guy can play!  http://rotobahn.com/...shington-state/  Go Bills! It's a PRE SEASON game verses 2nd and 3rd string guys most of whom won't make an NFL roster  keep your pants on and control yourself and don't want to shoot too quickly.... bladiebla
Tool Time:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tY5WxDqggbs  Hammy never had a game near what Tuel did, with the best being 11-13 for 89 yards and no TD's or INT's (completion percentage slightly better, but Tuel had 2 passes dropped) but worse average and no scores. And that was in Hamdan's 7th year (well, technically 5th, as he was out of football for 2 years after his rookie year in 2003).  Wrong... Leave the Hamdan facts to me please, he lit up NFL Europe every bit as much as Tuel did today, he looked better then Warner, 2 broken ankles further he never got his chance or maybe never got back to his pre broken ankle days, nothing to support yes or no on that one... That said Tuell looked very similar to Hamdan but better it pains to say me. Edited August 11, 2013 by bladiebla

The Bills had a great draft, including the UDFAs, obviously.

But, someone from our staff must have convinced him to sign with Buffalo. Â Kid got killed in college. Was sacked 119 times in 31 games and was injured a lot. Been a long time since he played behind an offensive line that could actually keep him upright!
mchammer
What good is a backup QB who can't stay healthy. Â I was talking about Kolb not Tuel. Edited August 11, 2013 by mchammer
disco
Tuel has looked pretty great in camp. I have noticed him taking a few too many sacks in practice. Last week he also threw an interception immediately after music was turned up on the field - not sure if it was a coincidence. Here's some video I shot of that: Â Â Also got him in a few photos - has a bit of an Eli Manning look to him: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13141302@N06/with/9490859434/
SPILLERmadeUmiss
You can't hold the level of his competition against him. He did everything they asked him to do- plus. He earned a chance to run with the 1st team defense. The bottom line is that he was free. When your team is killing with UDFAs, that is a really good sign. C.Biscuit97
Wow, I had no idea where they came from. Tuel's numbers from college screamed average and it would be a long shot to make it. Good for him but let's not get ahead of ourselves. But he definitely impressed even if it was against borderline NFLers.
Dragonborn10
Let him play most of the fourth game. If he does well he can be trade bait next year. Highly doubt they go into the season with just EJ and Tuel but it sure would be nice to carry only two QB's. It would let us keep an extra WR or OL.
