Maybe Massachusetts residents don't relish the idea of visiting Indianapolis in the dead of winter -- or at any time of year. That may just have a little to do with it, not to mention the game is in Indianapolis. Cold weather cities are always a big plus when deciding if you want to attend a SB. Plus $2500 might not be a lot of money to someone living in NYC because the of cost of living (and subsequently the salaries) there. Sorry, that excuse doesn't hold water. Super Bowl tickets have always been expensive. The Pats are probably the greatest dynasty the NFL has ever seen. One way, if you didn't care who was playing, was to go to a Super Bowl that had repeat teams in it, the logic being just what's happening here: Tickets will be easier to come by if all the rich bandwagoners have had plenty of chances to go in recent years. Can you imagine the next Super Bowl the Bills are in? Tickets will be impossible to find at any price. A buddy of mine and I, we both grew up in ROC and live in different parts of the country now. We have a pact to both go to that game no matter what the cost. Along those lines, I've also known people who have gone to the Super Bowl and "saved" money by buying single seats.
