I would much rather win and draft late than lose and pick at the top of the draft every single year. Honestly though we have not been to good at drafting players early, we seem to get good players later in the draft and miss on the early picks, so this may actually be a good thing that we don't get a top pick!

I understand what you are trying to say. But I'd rather win then lose. If that means a lower pick in the draft then so be it. You can still get great players lower in the draft.

And you can get really, really lousy ones higher in the draft. We've done it for years!

I hope you are joking? If not you have lost your mind, plus high draft choice doesn't guaranty a a great player (see 09 Maybin/Woods) There will be plenty of great players we can get there; QB Ryan Tannehill ,LBS Courtney Upshaw & Donta Hightower, OTs Levy Adcock & Andrew Datko, NT Josh Chapman, CB Chase Minnifield and the list goes on.

Geesh!!! I am joking!!!!

The "P" after the ranking means that the exact order depends upon how the team does in the playoffs.

I'm sorta making fun of the negative nancies that would find something bad to say about going deep into the playoffs or even making the playoffs. Once you are out of what would be the "lottery zone" in the NBA, there is not too much difference from the draft. The only "negative" I could see from the improvement, is if a team gets stuck in the 8-8 zone forever. Not good enough for the playoffs but not in the position to have a shot at the top stud players. I like that Gailey/Nix have to a certain extent banked more on living with young players, who will improve down the road, rather than trying to creep better (and likely stall) with a lot of expensive, getting-over-the-hill veterans. They did bring in some good veterans (Barnett, Morrison. Davis, Merriman)for experience and winning attitude but you can see the amount of playing time changing as the young'ens start to take over. There is a plan.

As they say -- "Come on Man". It doesn't mean a hill of beans what draft position the Bills are in after 6 weeks. Last time I checked it was a 16 game season and the positions don't get set till after that (except the last two positions which are after the Super Bowl). I am enjoying watching these Bills WIN SOME GAMES and don't give a hoot about where our draft position is.
