bisonbrigade
The bills all time best QB's First names all started with the letter J. In the 1960's it was Jack Kemp, in the 1970's it was Joe Ferguson and in the 1990's it was Jim Kelly. That means that our next great QB will be, Jake Locker. Count on it. The Senator
Didn't the Panthers just draft Jimmy Clausen? Starts with a 'J' too Clausen, last year's draft-darling of the know-nothings, has such a minimal contract (less than $3M guaranteed) after slipping to the second round that the Panthers would have no problems drafting and signing another QB. Let's just hope they sign the one that begins with 'J' (ake) and ends in (Locke) 'R' - but he won't go until at least round 3. Estro
I wouldn't want Locker with our second round pick at this point. If he's proven anything this year it's that he's not ready to play in the NFL next year. I don't want a project QB who can't compete in his first season with a high second round pick. I really hope the Bills brass weren't drooling over the chance of moving up into round one to nab Tebow, as was reported by Adam Schefter. If they were interested in Tebow they would surely consider Locker, IMO.
1B4IDie
Can we please nip the Locker stupidity in the bud this year. Jimmy Claussen and baby Colt McCoy were not considered 1st round material. There are no Husky supports to prop up Locker so let's just quit the Locker talk now. If he is there in the third it's something to think about. But the guy does bit have a first or early second round grade by anyone in the NFL. Maybe Todd McShay. But let's just stop the Locker nonsense now. Edited November 6, 2010 by Levitre + Wang = Wood
bisonbrigade
Drew Bledsoe and Doug Flutie both start with D. D is a failing grade. J only! Anyone ever notice how our stupidest posters start with "bisonbriga"? Supposed to be a Funny post, though the best QB's in team history started with J. This was not a Jake Locker fan club post. finknottle
Don't forget JP Losman! There's always an exception to the rule, I suppose. Starting QB's 2000-2009 seasons: Rob Johnson, Bledsoe. Losman, Holcomb, Edwards... Maybe a case can be made, in hindsight, that he *was* the best Bills QB of that decade.
