  1. Don’t underestimate what #17 can do for a thirsty WR… Brown, Beasley and Diggs all had career years with Allen. I’d feel great about a 5th or lower.
  2. I agree, but in fairness the pass defense has been at or near the top of the league since Edmunds has been inserted into the starting lineup and I’m sure over the last several seasons they’ve played some excellent QBs that being said, I trust McDermott to get the defense right with or without Edmunds
  3. Yeah I tend to agree with you on Edmunds, I just worry that he’s a bigger contributor to the over excellent pass defense than he’s given credit for and once removed we may see a considerable difference. But yeah if Bean can find a replacement I’m down with it. I can see a franchise tag coming his way though
  4. When I watch him play I see a very good LB with exceptional coverage skills, I don’t see much value in these rankings other than discussion topics. Remember before the Internet ? Waiting for all the preseason magazines to come out with the player bio’s . Now there’s so much information it often overshadows what we actually see with our own eyes on game days.
  5. I learned a lot about roaches and kids jumping on my lap, and I love kids jumping on my lap Cmon man
  6. If people want to fight racism and help the disadvantaged, then they need to call out racism even when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient, otherwise they’re seen as insincere and others who would otherwise join in the fight will simply shrug and move along. that’s why it deserves to be called out IMHO
  7. Is anyone really surprised ? People will jump to dismiss this as irrelevant and overblown because many who believe in racial equality have good intentions, and blatant racism against whites displayed on font pages of newspapers somehow discredits “real racism” therefore it cannot actually be racism. It’s really strange
  8. I’ve watched all of Allen’s plays a couple times but I can’t watch Mahomes, it sickens me.
  9. Yeah you may be correct, I might be hard to impress… and your points are valid, I just see a significant drop off when watching Mahomes Rodgers Allen then watching Burrow. i will admit that I never watched a full Bengals game in the regular season, but I did watch all four of their post season games and maybe that’s why I’m have difficulty seeing how anyone can include him with those guys because if we’re being honest Burrow wasn’t much more than average in those 4 games.
  10. So these are the built in excuses ? I think he had an outstanding regular season but they made it to the super bowl with an outstanding draw and excellent defense at times, Burrow threw 5 TDs in four games… thats not elite or even great i like him.. he’s not close to Mahomes or Allen at this point and I’d put Hurbert ahead of him. IMHO of course
  11. I’m not putting Burrow or Hurbert in the group yet… I just watched Allen match Burrow’s 5 Playoff TDs in 4 games… Allen did it in one… not sure what people are seeing in Burrow other than he was supposed to be great at #1 overall
  12. But the media love him… so he’s good
  13. I can’t agree on “played two great games” He was fortunate his defense and Mahomes lacklustre play bailed him out after his mediocre day
  14. Yeah I have to agree.. I’m not sure what people are watching
  15. Don’t forget the great one 99
  16. I have to respectfully disagree, it’s the greatest TEAM sport… how many less rings does Bellicheck have if he had Manning instead of Brady ?
  17. Woodstock Ontario Canada… with no work tomorrow, the beer store is my destination of importance today
  18. Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but didn’t Rice run away from everybody in the NfFL after running a slow combine ? Game speed can be very different
  19. Hey the 70s was a kick ass decade for music !!!! Birth of TBD posters ? Not so sure
  20. Can’t make this s**t up
  21. Can’t argue with the on field results, and if the only way to be successful was to draft players with spotty decision making skills and character issues, I’d be understanding of every team drafting in this manner. I’m happy that’s not the case and more importantly happy that McDermott believes character matters.
  22. I agree, a singular incident is just that, a one off… I see the issue here with the organization who seems to happen upon more of these singular incidents than all other teams. They don’t put a priority on character and that’s fine if you’re ok with the results on the field and off. I’m very glad McDermott demands high character, doesn’t mean there won’t be mistakes made but I prefer his approach to team building compared to Andy’s.
  23. Lol KC with all these low character players, do they put any emphasis on anything other than 40 times ?
  24. Home run draft pick, an athletic monster with attitude? 3rd round, Are you kidding me
