  1. I'm fine with a QB who doesn't have that strongest arm to begin with playing with less than a 100% shoulder. Those balls are going to hang in the air a half second longer than normal.
  2. Garbage time started because they scored 3 points in the first half. All those stats and only 3 points. Nobody cares about how many stats you put up. You don't win games with stats. You win games with points. And over and over again in these games they don't score enough of them. When your average in those games is half or less of what you score in other games, that's a problem. Taking bad sacks doesn't show up on his stat line but they kill drives.
  3. That's fine. When was the last time he played there? It's not something you do 4 years ago and then come back for a single game and you are just fine with it... No different than if I moved to California for 4 years and then come back to Buffalo, I would be freezing. The body gets used to the environment you live in.
  4. I don't agree with this. I live in a snow belt and most times the bands start South of us, shift north due small shifts in wind degree direction, sometimes will then even go further north of us for several hours, then return back over us and then shift down south again into the Southern Tier before ending. This is very common over these longer multi day events. I mean it's literally going to happen during this one. You can even see the bands start to shift simply by looking at radar without having to know anything about the wind direction, it's pretty much telling you. Sometimes you have disturbances that move thru like shortwave troughs that slightly change wind direction and move the bands completely away from an area to a new area...even small changes in wind direction, say from 270 degrees to 260 degrees has a large impact in where the band placement will shift. For example, in Snowvember in 2014, we had two separate blasts of snow on consecutive days...the first was about 3.5 feet and then moved south overnight before returning the next day to drop another 3 feet. We were supposed to get more snow after it moved south again but it never returned north of Elma that time and we were spared thank God. Same thing happened 2 years ago...started South, band shifted north and we got hammered, then it shifted all the way up to the North towns and even up to Lockport for quite a long time and they got about a foot and a half of snow very unusually, then it shifted back down again over us and back to the southtowns and ski country and then died out.
  5. There isn't going to be any snow. Except by the stands off the playing surface. Light winds 5-10 mph, snow likely over by mid afternoon, just cold. And the mental effect that will have on the 49ers, most of whom likely have never seen this much snow in their lifetime in one place. That is a very real thing to overcome and a lot of teams lose before even playing in that environment.
  6. The weather should have little to no impact except mentally for the 49ers which is a real thing for teams not used to it. Winds 5-10mph, little to no snow during the game, essentially just a cold game with piles of snow to show on TV around the stadium for the viewing audience to ooh and aah over and for Bills fans to toss around in the stands.
  7. Winds are expected to be 5-10 mph by kickoff and little to no snow expected. Essentially this will just be a cold game with a lot of snow piles around the stadium off the field for the TV crew to show off to viewers and for the Bills fans to throw around.
  8. This likely isn't going to be a snow game than it being packed along the stands on the field. Field should be clear and little to no snow forecast during the game. Winds aren't expected to be that bad as they are forecast to be down to 5-10 mph by kickoff. Essentially it just will be a cold game played with a large pile of snow that can be seen on TV but not on the field.
  9. Other than Purdy playing with likely a less than 100% shoulder, the rest of the injury news for the 49ers is pretty much brutal. Bosa, Lenoir, Williams, Banks and Elliot all out... Greenlaw too, but nobody was expecting him to play as his window just opened up coming off IR. Several others are questionable.
  10. Hmm...should be decent as temps will be in mid to upper 20s
  11. Getting sacked on 4th down. Airmailing another 4th down throw to a wide open Achane. Missing some throws early on 3rd down that could have kept them in it. Going 4 for 14 on 3rd down isn't going to get it done. Tua IS a problem because on plays you NEED him to make a play, oftentimes he doesn't.
  12. He played against Seattle and put up 13 points against a defense we scored 34 on and against whom we were moving the ball at will most of the game. I think we will be fine. They have been mostly not good on offense this year. It's less likely but at that point it comes down to a timing thing as to when it falls. Seems like mostly will be tomorrow and they will have all day Sunday to get it taken care of so it's unlikely, but if the bands don't move like they expect it could be interesting. Although now it looks like it will be there for part of the day Sunday as well: "Saturday Snow showers likely before 8am, then snow after 8am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 31. West wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible. Saturday Night Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 23. Southwest wind 13 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 16 inches possible. Sunday Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 31. Southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible." Anywhere from 21-35 inches over a day and a half roughly.
  13. It can be since oftentimes there are wind direction changes that move the bands over different areas so places that are getting hit now might get a lengthy break in between, especially with long lasting events. Typically bands start in the South towns and/or southern tier, then will move north, then move back south again before ending. Doesn't always happen, but it happens quite a bit.
  14. Most of it in garbage time with the game already decided. When he had chances to make plays in key situations he came up short...as usual. This is the same script as always for him in games like that. Tua puts up lots of stats but doesn't make many plays that actually win you games when it counts.
  15. Chiefs defense has also been getting gouged since the Bills game...Panthers moved the ball well against them as are the Raiders.
  16. Chiefs again struggling with a bad team...they simply are not that good.
  17. Thank Allen for throwing a terrible ball to a wide open receiver that should have been a walk in TD instead of a 4 week injury.
  18. It's funny he said that because that's why some coaches end up having burnout or medical conditions that cause them to retire because the wins become more of a relief when they happen and the losses become almost unbearable due to the level of success they have had and the levels of expectations. They are not a threat and haven't been in a while. And that includes last year.
  19. I realized while watching the game last night that I don't even hate the Dolphins anymore. Honestly I feel pity for them because it's always the same thing...they play a good team, play in cold weather, play a prime time game and they get their doors blown off. Essentially, anytime the conditions aren't good and they are playing anything more than a mediocre team, they don't usually even look competitive. They have ruined the rivalry and I am actually angry at them for that. They are like your little brother that you know you will always win against when you play them. I mean, sure, every once in while they hit a lucky shot to win at the last second but most of the time the games aren't close and the result is already known. It just feels so weird after all this time to feel nothing for a team you grew up hating and have done so for 40 years... I hope they renew the rivalry at some point, because at this point it's dead.
  20. Not always...think you are writing revisionist history now. In their first SB appearance they finished 13-3 and the Fins finished 12-4. The following year they were 13-3 again and the Jets finished 2nd at 8-8...in this case it was true. In 1992, the Bills actually were the wildcard, losing the division to Miami even tho they had identical 11-5 records. In 1993, the Bills finished 12-4 with the Fins in 2nd at 9-7. So partially the case here.
  21. Dolphins at least made history last night... They set a new NFL record for missed tackles in a single game with 20, smashing the old record of 16 held by the Titans.
  22. They crushed us in the pre-season didn't they? 🤣
  23. Not really...the Lions are the most entertaining team in the league on offense so even if it turned into the blowout it was threatening in the first half it would have been fun to watch at least. Dallas - New York Giants feature two backup QBs on teams with bad records that are mostly trash.
  24. Now we have to suffer through the toilet bowl before getting to the most interesting game of the day 😏
  25. That play is wide open for the Bills when they line up for the tush push... I wouldn't be surprised to see them being this out in a playoff game.
