We hung 30 on the Chiefs missing 3 offensive starters and on a team that hasn't allowed more than 28 points in the regular season since Week 4 of 2022. Also the 5th straight game the Bills have scored 30+... This team is going to reach new levels by the end of the year offensively....they are already really, really good and they haven't peaked yet.

Honestly I think the entire team and coaching staff deserves a game ball. It was as complete a game as we have seen from start to finish all year and it came against the 2x defending SB champ and previously undefeated Chiefs, not the Jags or Seahawks. Chiefs were out coached and outplayed on both sides of the ball.

Bill Cowher jumped a table. Are these tables rigged on CBS?

Haha, you could see when they were setting them up they were "pre-broken" -
Too bad Brady will almost assuredly be a Head Coach somewhere next year as the "hot candidate" along with Ben Johnson for all the openings there will be.

Mahomes had under 200 yards passing and almost no explosive plays, what exactly are you talking about about? Bills had more explosive plays in the first half than the Chiefs did all game. -
So about the refs tonight UPDATE: Rams game discussion on page 14

I don't really think Hollins was a pick on the Samuel TD. He was running a route and the Chiefs player ran into him. I mean if someone is running into me I am probably putting my hands up to to protect myself. -

Resigned to the fact that Joe Brady is as good as gone this off-season to be head coach somewhere. IMO Babich could be the difference if he is willing to coach the same in the regular season and be aggressive in the playoffs instead of passive like McD always seems to become. -
Sometimes nagging injuries can do that to you because you can't do what you are used to doing...that toe has seemingly been an issue since training camp to varying degrees. Seems like he is finally over the hump so to speak with that and he looked good the last few games.
-
Looks like whatever injury issues he had with his toe is healed up and Brady seems to have found a better role for him than simply "gadget" guy in the offense. Dude was a legit weapon yesterday and played an integral part in the gameplan.

Josh Allen Punched in the head two weeks in a row
Big Turk replied to kitchen sink's topic in The Stadium Wall
When you are getting owned by a man all game and you can't stop him any other way, I guess that's all you have left. Wilkins resorted to grabbing his junk in piles, these guys to punching him in the face. -
Brian Baldinger (#BaldysBreakdowns) of Bills offense play structure

That block on Jones on the TD run by Allen was a complete annihilation of Jones.... Now we need to do that in the playoffs where he always seems to be unstoppable at key points in the game. -
Jones got manhandled on the Allen TD run so much that he didn't even bother trying to run him down he got shoved completely out of the play by Cyborg.

Clearly not because it was blatantly obvious the ball hit the ground while he never possessed it. There is no way that was a catch. Luckily the refs threw a flag for holding on the Mahomes run the next play that basically put them back in what they should have been in, 4th and 13 prior to the non-review. -
Sure looked like it yesterday on that 26 yard TD run.

The Bills and specifically Allen are terrible on RB screens. He doesn't suck the defenders in enough and throws the ball too early which means there are usually defenders all around the RB. The O-Line is terrible at selling it too...they seemingly block too well and hold up the D-Line meaning they are close to where the RB is catching the ball and creates a lot of muddiness and traffic near the LOS.
-
Schefter was right...Jones is done in NY and they are pulling the Russ with Denver last year, benching him to avoid potential serious injury which would cause his guarantees for next year to kick in.
-
The entire team and coaching staff. Great game plans by both sides and execution by the players on both sides.
-
The first few weeks they ran the ball significantly more on first down and that was an issue in the Baltimore/Houston game somewhat but they figured it out and have been much better at keeping teams off-balance with that since

Crazy to think that with all the players we lost in the off-season that this is the best version of the Bills in the Josh Allen era with a 9-2 record for the first time since 1992. This has been one hell of a coaching job by McDermott, Babich and Brady. I LOVE the fact that Babich was not afraid to go man-to-man on 3rd downs and come after Mahomes...made him very uncomfortable and got home numerous times. Only allowing 260 yards to the Chiefs and holding Mahomes under 200 yards passing is quite an accomplishment. Babich is the DC now...I think him being willing to not be afraid of Mahomes on 3rd down and switch to man to man quite often in those situations and come after Mahomes paid huge dividends. He looked discombobulated for much of the game and unsure. -
You have to stick with it to some degree to avoid being completely one dimensional. The Chiefs are just a really good run defense. They haven't allowed an RB to gain more than 60 yards all season. Cook scored twice on the ground when it mattered tho. A few wrinkles would be nice like some jet sweeps or WR runs that other teams seem to use effectively. I think the run game is good...it's predicated on fundamentally sound football, something the Bills are usually very good at. The Bills WR screen game is essentially an extension of their running game.

What is Goff doing??? Did Stroud and Goff have a bet on who could throw the most bad INTs tonight?

Stroud is making some bonehead decisions tonight

Bills are 8-2 for the first time in over 30 years
Big Turk replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are 9-0. As they roll up 415 yards and 30 points for the 4th straight time playing their C- game with their top 2 WRs downs and then losing Kincaid after halftime.
