  1. Nice pickup by the Lions before the playoffs... I'm sure they want someone a little better than a rookie QB if Goff goes down. https://sports.yahoo.com/qb-teddy-bridgewater-fresh-off-coaching-alma-mater-to-hs-state-title-reportedly-coming-out-of-retirement-to-sign-with-lions-175427907.html
  2. Funny he is impressed with a guy averaging 10 yards a catch but not with a guy averaging 21 yard a catch who has far more "big plays" than the guy drafted as the fastest player ever who was going to give them "huge plays downfield". Coleman has 3 plays over 35 yards while Worthy has 1. Allen has a 108 rating when throwing to Coleman, Mahomes has a 91 rating when throwing to Worthy. Coleman averages 8.5 YAC yards/reception, Worthy 6.9 Worthy has had 58 more targets than Coleman has had to get 150 more yards. How is that impressive AT ALL? That's actually the opposite of impressive. If Coleman had 58 more targets, he would have an additional 724 yards receiving based on his catch rate of 60% and his YPC of 20.8. So if we equal out the targets, Coleman would have 1222 yards receiving to Worthy's 638. How is this even a discussion? What are we doing here? More delusional content without viewing it through any context whatsoever.
  3. Jackson is not even the MVP on his own team. Look what happens when Henry gets bottled up...Lamar turns into La"mew" and they lose to 2 teams with a combined 3-24 record versus the rest of the NFL and then against Pittsburgh the first game they lose to a team that doesn't even score a TD. Amazing that he looks good in the second game where Henry goes off. Coincidental? I think not.
  4. Thomas Jr. is a great talent no doubt, but how much has he benefitted from playing backups in blowout losses and facing soft coverage playing teams that have huge leads? Context is needed. Obviously he hasn't done much to help this team score points when the game has been close. The Jags have been terrible and one of the lowest scoring teams in the NFL. Pretty much this, it's just getting easier to manufacture stuff now after they got Hopkins and Hollywood Brown has entered the picture.
  5. The best predictor of future results is past perronance.
  6. When you are throwing to college wide open receivers it makes it a lot easier.
  7. Allen's odds have shrunk a little to -250 to La"mew"'s +160. A good game by Allen would further cement him on Sunday
  8. Not really. Coleman is averaging 21 yards a catch and missed several games. Worthy has 150 more yards on 25 more catches and has played in 4 more games. Hardly anything eye popping. If Coleman didn't miss time his numbers would likely be better than Worthy's.
  9. That would be pretty ironic if it happened.
  10. Not really. The Pats were not lining up to kick a GW 35 yard FG with 3 second left and then suddenly forgot how to block properly. Or in FG range to kick a game winning FG but then inexplicably fumble on a basic handoff to run time off the clock. The Bills were well in control of that game in the 2nd half with a 10 points lead.
  11. It's Babich...he is the one running the defense and calling the plays. Hopefully he is far more aggressive in the playoffs than McD has been. I don't care how bad it was, that's still impressive.
  12. It's so frustrating to see a defense that gets worse when it counts rather than better like most teams defense does. I mean even going back to the Super Bowl Bills teams...look at how the D played in the 4 AFC Championship games... 51-3 10-7 29-3 30-13 In 4 AFC Championship games, the D gave up a total of 26 points. Which is less than the 27 the Chiefs scored on us last year alone in one game.
  13. Nobody is talking about regular season, we are talking about the playoffs. Lamar shrinks like a cockroach under the lights in the playoffs while other QBs we won't name turn into Superman.
  14. Peyton Manning had far better numbers than Lamar does...Lamar is literlly not even in the top 50 for career passer rating in the playoffs. Do you know how bad you have to be not to be in the top 50? https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/lamar-jacksons-passing-numbers-get-worse-in-the-playoffs-every-year
  15. Just be careful not to go down Copperhead Road....I heard a bunch of people never came back from there...
  16. That's my whole point. If Allen doesn't win MVP the voters need to be investigated for collusion and/or some sort of personal vendetta against Allen.
  17. But seeing the same thing you have already seen 6 times will. When someone's most memorable play in the playoffs is a 101 yard pick 6, that says all you need to know about how they perform once they get there.
  18. And have God on their side making them near impossible to beat. Except for the Bills, at least in the regular season.
  19. They beneitted from playing in a division as bad as ours.
  20. Maybe...but I really like Rousseau. I think he has the potential to turn into that.
  21. KC has essentially played the same way as they have last year when they were 11-6 but got bailed out by inexplicable luck and teams imploding in ways that are almost unfathomable, as if it was scripted.
  22. He had a receiving TD also
  23. Nothing really. Houston already won the division and the Ravens are now leading the AFC North. Steelers are in the playoffs and Broncos and Chargers will be in with a win in either of their last 2 games.
  24. Demeco Ryan saying "No Mas!" With these wimpy punts on 4th and short.
