  1. 49ers look like they want to just get on the bus and go home 🤣🤣
  2. Taking a 2 hour detour to drive home from Western Ohio and around the lake snows 🤣 Just got home after 9 hours. I do unless I am driving somewhere 😏
  3. He is going to be on a pitch count tonight and likely in passing situations to ease him back into the lineup. He isn't going to just be back in the game full time right away. McD already explained that he will be on a pitch count as he works his way back into the lineup.
  4. Easiest bet in college football this year. Anyone thinking Ohio State was going to win by more than one score was high. Michigan is their boogie man... Would be like the Dolphins being favored by a huge spread against the Bills
  5. 8.5 inches is a little more than a dusting.
  6. Yes and apparently this time potentially favoring the Buffalo Metro area and Eastern suburbs based on initial discussion. 😐
  7. I'm guessing these meteorologists who wrote this article published in the American Meteorological Society Journal based on a study of nearly 700 lake effect events don't know what they are talking about either? Do better. "The interaction of short-wave troughs with lake-effect snow can further complicate forecasting as each trough has the ability to change the intensity and location of preexisting lake-effect snowbands." https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/apme/58/3/jamc-d-18-0177.1.xml
  8. Heaviest snow is supposed to fall overnight tonight and early morning tomorrow...and yikes, they just upped the amounts to 16-22" overnight.
  9. Tell me about it...we are coming back from Western Ohio tomorrow and are having to take a 2 hour detour to avoid all of this mess... 80 to Youngstown to Oil City, PA then NE to Olean and up thru Warsaw before heading back to Lancaster...
  10. Probably had some wrist soreness and they didn't want to risk it I assume?
  11. Yeah, unlikely any cancellations occur although the 90 South of Hamburg is shut down and will likely remain so all thru Sunday night
  12. Whoever plays Ohio State.
  13. Hahaha...those losers got beat by a replacement level QB who tried to repeatedly give the game away and they still wouldn't take it 🤣🤣🤣 Not a Michigan fan but am definitely a fan of whoever plays Ohio State... Buckeyes can go suck it
  14. Worst of all the lake band has been delayed moving north by several hours now pushing the snow into game time as well most likely and lessening the time the shovelers will have time to clear as the heaviest snow is expected overnight tonight It was a long time ago...I could have went to that game because a family friend was offering their tickets since they didn't want to brave the cold and I was like "nah, I'm good..." It was in the drought years, wasn't about to sit thru that for a garbage team.
  15. And Fin fans because he caused a concussion by hitting Tua and then he hit his head on the turf.
  16. Now it looks like snow WILL potentially effect the game tomorrow as the movement north of the lake band has been a lot slower than initially expected and is basically pushing the move back south farther back as well... This Afternoon Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 29. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible. Tonight Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 23. Southwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible. Sunday Snow before noon, then snow showers likely after noon. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 30. Southwest wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible. Sunday Night Snow likely before midnight, then a chance of snow showers after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
  17. I don't want them to be able to beat us, more like last year where we extinguished their hopes and dreams the last game of the year. But in general, it's a foregone conclusion we are beating them twice a year most years for a long time running.
  18. I agree...they got a lot of aging vets and are the oldest team in the NFL. Campbell has been far and away their best defensive lineman and at age 38 is about to fall off a cliff...probably next year if he is back. Ramsey is in his early 30s and doesn't have long left either. Poyer also...
  19. I'm fine with a QB who doesn't have that strongest arm to begin with playing with less than a 100% shoulder. Those balls are going to hang in the air a half second longer than normal.
  20. Garbage time started because they scored 3 points in the first half. All those stats and only 3 points. Nobody cares about how many stats you put up. You don't win games with stats. You win games with points. And over and over again in these games they don't score enough of them. When your average in those games is half or less of what you score in other games, that's a problem. Taking bad sacks doesn't show up on his stat line but they kill drives.
  21. That's fine. When was the last time he played there? It's not something you do 4 years ago and then come back for a single game and you are just fine with it... No different than if I moved to California for 4 years and then come back to Buffalo, I would be freezing. The body gets used to the environment you live in.
  22. I don't agree with this. I live in a snow belt and most times the bands start South of us, shift north due small shifts in wind degree direction, sometimes will then even go further north of us for several hours, then return back over us and then shift down south again into the Southern Tier before ending. This is very common over these longer multi day events. I mean it's literally going to happen during this one. You can even see the bands start to shift simply by looking at radar without having to know anything about the wind direction, it's pretty much telling you. Sometimes you have disturbances that move thru like shortwave troughs that slightly change wind direction and move the bands completely away from an area to a new area...even small changes in wind direction, say from 270 degrees to 260 degrees has a large impact in where the band placement will shift. For example, in Snowvember in 2014, we had two separate blasts of snow on consecutive days...the first was about 3.5 feet and then moved south overnight before returning the next day to drop another 3 feet. We were supposed to get more snow after it moved south again but it never returned north of Elma that time and we were spared thank God. Same thing happened 2 years ago...started South, band shifted north and we got hammered, then it shifted all the way up to the North towns and even up to Lockport for quite a long time and they got about a foot and a half of snow very unusually, then it shifted back down again over us and back to the southtowns and ski country and then died out.
  23. There isn't going to be any snow. Except by the stands off the playing surface. Light winds 5-10 mph, snow likely over by mid afternoon, just cold. And the mental effect that will have on the 49ers, most of whom likely have never seen this much snow in their lifetime in one place. That is a very real thing to overcome and a lot of teams lose before even playing in that environment.
  24. The weather should have little to no impact except mentally for the 49ers which is a real thing for teams not used to it. Winds 5-10mph, little to no snow during the game, essentially just a cold game with piles of snow to show on TV around the stadium for the viewing audience to ooh and aah over and for Bills fans to toss around in the stands.
  25. Winds are expected to be 5-10 mph by kickoff and little to no snow expected. Essentially this will just be a cold game with a lot of snow piles around the stadium off the field for the TV crew to show off to viewers and for the Bills fans to throw around.
