  1. By a huge margin, the Bills face the most man coverage of any team in the NFL. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Guess teams have decided to go down with the ship if they are going down against Allen...
  2. Yes, his Dad is Black and was a former MLB relief pitcher...although not a very good one, but had a pretty decent career for being a replcement level player. 42-39 W-L record with a career 5.47 ERA. Essentially he was the Fitzpatrick of Pitchers pitching for 6 different teams.
  3. Nobody is laughing.
  4. The question was "Who is the next active player to win their first MVP?". Mahomes obviously wouldn't qualify since he already won one.
  5. Yeah so was forcing people of color to go in the back door of restaurants if they were allowed in there at all and making them sit in the back of the bus. Having segregated schools, bathrooms and water fountains along with Jim Crow laws and many thinking they were "better than someone" based on the color of their skin. Sorry, as much as you may want to go back to those days, we are never going back. I'm sure many still believe in those things, they just have to live in a world where their hate, racism and bigotry no longer wins out and a world where they are now the minority.
  6. Lowering the depth of the gutter shouldn't be viewed as cool because "it's not too far away" from the previous low.
  7. 1) Tone Deaf. It doesn't matter. 2) That's great. Many White people were enslaved too and there were Black slave owners as well, what's your point? 3) Are you trying to argue that type of stuff never happened? Regardless of how "fictional" the movie was in how it portrayed the overall topic it was covering, there are plenty of accounts historically to verify that what happened in the movie related to lynching is plenty factual.
  8. I agree, it probably isn't. Probably some dumb kids that thought it was funny without thinking about it. But the point is, we don't KNOW that....and regardless, as a nation who still has a lot of work to do with race relations and in some ways has just covered up the issues better and pretend they don't exist now, it's just not a good look.
  9. Go watch Mississippi Burning and let me know if you still think it's silly.
  10. From earlier in the season, but pretty sure he would still be garnering at least as many votes after the Chiefs game. Guess whoever thought he was overrated forget to vote this time 😂
  11. I have no idea. Neither do you. Trying to excuse this behavior away is so tone deaf I am going to assume you probably don't spend much time around non-white people.
  12. Allen converts 3rd downs better than anyone in NFL history at almost 50%, so actually as we have seen over the last 5 years it IS a sustainable strategy.
  13. Allen isn't Black and for 200 years didn't face lynchings as a regular part of life. Think you probably should go read some history books to understand why it would be extremely offensive and seen that way by many. Or go watch Mississippi Burning.
  14. That's because most people don't understand that they use those to set up plays off that later in the game out of the exact same look. So while you may be frustrated for a bit, most people are not frustrated when the Bills get rolling downhill and score on every possession from mid 2nd quarter to the end of the game usually. In large part to showing something early and coming back to the same look but a different play out of it later. There is a reason why the Bills lead the NFL in 2nd half point differential.
  15. If we are mostly healthy on D I think we win similar to the way we did this game.
  16. You realize our 4th down conversion rate is the best in the NFL right?
  17. Thru the first 3 games, the Bills ran on 55.56% of 1st downs. For the season right now they have run on 48.91% of first downs, which means they have upped their passing quite a bit to move the average that much over the other 8 games. Over the last 3 games they have run on 43.48% of first downs and against KC specifically they ran on 45.83% of first downs. So yes, they have become increasingly pass heavy as the year has gone on on first down. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-first-down-pct?date=2024-11-21
  18. The running on first down criticism of Brady hasn't been valid since like week 4. Since then the Bills realized their tendencies and are far more balanced in terms of pass and run. Daboll was frustrating at times because we literally COULDN'T run the ball under him for much of the time until the Bills scrapped zone blocking and went to man blocking. We also had some really poor offensive performances under him against poor teams such as Jacksonville. To me, Brady has been better and more consistent than Daboll, IMO.
  19. No way of knowing this, the Jets could always moves players and picks to do so.
  20. I can't get to where everyone thinks he is somehow "talking trash". Everytime I have heard post game clips of him talking with Allen he has been nothing but gracious even when they lose. Simply think it's a situation where real recognizes real. And if you don't think KC has as much respect for the Bills and especially Josh Allen as any team and player in the league you are wrong. They are terrified of what Allen can do on the field from coaches to the players. They know Allen is the closest thing to Mahomes there is in the NFL and at times outplays him which rarely happens.
  21. I believe WP = Win Probability, ie the gain or loss in the probability the team wins by their 4th down decisions.
  22. That's why I think the biggest difference on defense could be Babich and him not being afraid to continue being aggressive in the playoffs where McD went more conservative in his playcalls.
  23. Can we please put to bed that McD is way too conservative/ultra conservative/some version of reality that isn't true?
  24. Might as well just rename these "Bills player of the week" at this point...is that 3 or 4 in a row now that a Bills player has won one of the awards?
  25. I'd have to imagine he likely has a huge following of female fans too...dude seems like a Man's Man and not that I typically judge other guys, but he is one really handsome dude.
