  1. Bills move up to the 3rd best DVOA in football behind the 49ers and Ravens. Surprisingly, 2nd best offensive DVOA in the NFL behind only the 49ers.
  2. Miami with their usual December fade that's happened for decades now. 3 things you can count on in life. Death, taxes and the Fins fading in December. Jaguars are a "meh" team. Bills would likely beat them and possibly beat them badly if we played them again.
  3. Hall is a great player...even this year he has been doing a lot, I have him in fantasy. The issue is, their OLine is decimated with injuries, they can't do anything passing and teams can just basically load the box and stop Hall.
  4. So did Tampa Bay the year they won the Super Bowl. It happens.
  5. Not sure how you could think that when he has been playing at an elite level this year.
  6. Not saying it at all...just saying the QB should know better.
  7. Bad throw, bad ball position and leading his receiver into a defenseless position where he is likely to get murdered. It was a bad throw with inaccurate ball placement and serving his receiver up on a silver platter to get hit hard without the ability to protect himself. So yes, that's bad QB play and there won't be one actual QB that played in the NFL that says otherwise.
  8. Look at what they have done against #1 receivers since the Bucs game: Evans 3 catches 39 yards Chase 4 catches 41 yards Sutton 8 catches 53 yards G. Wilson 2 catches 9 yards AJ Brown 5 catches 37 yards Kelce 6 catches 83 yards Lamb 7 catches 53 yards That's pretty damn good defense against the other teams best weapon. They are starting to put it all together now and peaking at the right time.
  9. And great identifying what you need and a GM willing to go get it. Almost criminal level of theft they got a perfect scheme fit in Douglas for a mid round pick. I told people we were going to love him and he has not disappointed at all.
  10. No...because you assume when you are putting your WR in a defenseless position when 3 defenders are bearing down on him that the worst is going to happen. That's one of the first rules you learn as a QB, not to put your receivers in those positions. He will be getting an earful from his OC/QB coach today when they watch the film.
  11. Give it another game or two. Browning will come back to earth once DC's have enough tape. He is in his "Mike White" stage right now until teams force him to do things he isn't good at when he will be exposed. Might come against the Steelers. Bengals lose to them all the time with Burrow at QB let alone Browning. McD figured out how to scheme around missing a really great player from all 3 levels. That is great coaching.
  12. I thought he might have killed the Colts receiver with that hit...it was brutal...but it was equally brutal on Minshew for throwing that ball to that location. You gotta be better as a QB and know you can't make that throw leading your receiver into that type of situation. That's why Minshew is a backup. Dude is going to get his receivers killed eventually. Unacceptable throw by Minshew.
  13. Cowherd - "This version of the Bills reminds me of the Steelers team under a young Big Ben that lifted trophies. Just because you have a QB with 'God-like' talent, doesn't mean you have to use up every ounce of it every game. Sometimes it's OK for him to be a complimentary piece and just have him put his cape on a few plays a game. This is the version of the Bills that could lift trophies."
  14. Cook is very slippery and tends to get a lot of yards when he leans sideways while being tackled so the defenders can't get a good piece of him...that reminds me a lot of Thurman...teams never got a clean hit on him, they only got little pieces of his body.
  15. Go to -1:29:00 of this video and then watch Dion Dawkins block his man almost 20 yards downfield and plant him on his ass...
  16. One of the absolute greatest start to finish play by play/color commentary calls of all time...perfect timing for everything...might be my favorite playcalls ever Dierdoff right before the INT: "Right now, this New England offense has got to get off it's butt and do something!" The ball is snapped and Dierdorf continues "Your defense just had a 3-and-out, reward them for it." And before he can even finish the sentence Brady throws the pick to Adams and you hear "Interception!" and all Dierdorf can do is laugh "ho ho!!" The announcer keeps going "Picked off right side! There goes BIG! SAM! ADAMS!!!" And all Dierdorf can do the whole playcall is laugh and the yells "Oh no!!!" when Adams rumbles into the endzone...I still laugh out loud every time I watch it...then they show Adams shoving Bledsoe away from him as he tries to come joke and take Adams arm and put it around his shoulders to help carry him to the bench after that INT return... Another one of my favorite plays from that era...Spikes starts the 2006 season with a sack/strip/fumble of Brady and London Fletcher scoops it up for a TD on the first play of the year...Spikes was such a dominant player for us until he tore his achilles...
  17. Hall is damn good, so yeah, a lot of it is they know the passing attack is virtually no threat so they can load up to stop Hall. If they get that corrected next year, Hall is likely a better player but not by much.
  18. I don't know how they don't give the job to Brady...he has really turned things around and unlocked a new dimension to the offense. And turned Cook into a top 5 dual threat in the NFL at RB. And unlocked some nasty along the OLine.
  19. If Shaq Leonard was making a difference he would still be in Indy. He is a shell of his former self.
  20. He is, but mostly he tells it like he sees it and people really reach to try and paint him as some homer...Chris Brown is a homer. Sal is definitely not. At least if you listen to him for more than 20 minutes and don't interpret it the way you want to instead of listen to what he is actually saying.
  21. You mean other then when he kept driving his legs and pushed 5 Cowboy defenders for 3 yards and then had the OLine come in and push them for another 5. Yeah sometimes he is going to get brought down by arm tackles. Sometimes he is going to break multiple tackles on long runs. It's not a "1 or the other" situation.
  22. This team is mentally tough...we saw it in 2021. We saw it last year. We are seeing it again this year. When things get tough and this team is backed into a corner, they are like a wolverine that nobody wants to mess with. Usually it leads to them playing their best football. With so many teams that fade when the going gets tough, it's great to see ours plays it's best.
  23. And yet they did far better than O'Brien has on offense this year. Except in their first game against us.
  24. Like our chances with McD's track record against young QB's with not a lot of game experience. Stick will be looking like a deer in the headlights and likely will throw a couple of easy picks to us.
  25. Wouldn't be surprised to see him as our punter next year. Ironically while it sucks for him he had to go thru this and fight to get back in, it may benefit him financially as now he is a free agent and not subject to the rookie wage scale limitations of a late round pick.
