Toney saved us from another Billsy moment…
Big Turk replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen would have put on his cape like he does so often in those situations. Also the way they play D typically changes in those situations when they are playing the clock and knowing they are automatically playing 4 downs not 3. Honestly I wonder why it doesn't happen more in those situations. -
Wait...Gimore is a "surefire HOF" player now according to Collinsworth? I don't know about that one.

In those situations I don't care about what the stats say. I care about what Allen has shown in those situations over and over and over again since he has been here. He scores. -
"Very flawed"? Cmon man...the Panthers are "very flawed", the Steelers even are "very flawed". The Bills have some flaws but they also still are near the top of the NFL in many categories..."very flawed" teams aren't in that conversation.

I would have liked our chances with Allen having the ball with 1:12 on the clock and all 3 TO's. Allen has delivered over and over again in that situation and the D usually folded. Honestly I was HOPING that TD would stand. IMO, Bills would have went down the field and scored a TD- 186 replies

KC was playing AFC Championship Game defense again meaning they held and illegal contacted Bills WR's all game and got no calls against them for it. Allen was under duress far too often the 2nd half of the game even with 3 man pressures at times, which meant nobody was open downfield with 8 in coverage Davis was WIDE open for a TD late in the game on the drive they kicked the winning FG but again, Allen was under duress and didn't see him, instead throwing high to Kincaid along the sideline incomplete. Easily could have been a wide open TD.
-
Gabe was wide open for a TD but Josh was under pressure and didn't see him and instead threw high for Kincaid near the sideline right before the FG. Diggs wants to win first and foremost. He is fine I am sure.

His foot was almost lined up where the Bills defenders were...how could you complain about the call?

How have the Bills been after their Bye Week?
Big Turk replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team didn't play like they think that. Perhaps you should stop acting as if you couldn't find 25 people to say bad stuff about any NFL head coach. -
The weekly "most suspicious officiating moments in the game" thread

Bills receivers were being held/illegal contacted all game long and nothing was being called, ala the AFC Championship Game...force the ref to make those calls and they weren't making them. Leonard Floyd in particular was being held nearly every play it seemed like but didn't get a call either... -
KC is pretty close to an elite defense this year...I didn't think we would keep it up all game long on offense. They are the only team that hasn't allowed 30 points all season yet. Allen was under duress most of the second half and sometimes only with a 3 man rush...that can't happen, they have to better up front.

Apparently Bills are only capable of winning games on D against KC and Mahomes and nobody else in the last 2 minutes...I believe the last win they had in this situation with the D getting off the field was against KC where they got an INT last year

Herbert Broken Finger *Update: Out for Season
Big Turk replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have Herbert also but he has only played last week for me...I also have Allen. If they are playing for draft position why would they want to fire Staley? He is inept. -
So the Bills D can stop KC in the reg season in the last 2 minutes but not Mac Jones?? What the heck?
-
how does this stuff keep happening? Davis drops a ball then he hits Murray for a big gain and HE drops the ball...
-
KC going back to the AFC Championship defense they ran...hold every receiver, they aren't calling it
-
If we lose this game, that was the drive responsible for it...inexcusably pathetic 3 and out in this situation from the offense.
-
Cue the defense falling apart in the 2nd half and not stopping a cold. Allen better be ready to do it himself. This is NOT a good Chiefs offense, if the Bills D gets shredded it is squarely on McD. 7 of their 12 games they have scored 21 points or less. Everyone seems to be able to contain them except us(most likely) and the bottom feeder teams apparently.

Around the NFL, Dec. 10 & 11, Week 14 of 18.
Big Turk replied to Ridgewaycynic2013's topic in The Stadium Wall
Are high ankle sprains now "nothing ijnuries" for QBs? Mahomes and Lawrence both play without seemingly any issues the week after a high ankle sprain. Not sure of any others, but there is no way a few years ago a player, even a QB would be playing the week after that. Unsure how high ankles for QBs are different since they need to be able to drive the ball by stepping into it but somehow it seems not to matter? -
Anyone calling for Allen's head needs to immediately go take a long walk off a short pier and never come back. He is BY FAR the best QB this franchise has ever had and he compares very favorably to some other HOF QB's as well and to his peers. This is standardized to make it an even playing field for whatever era a QB played in.

How have the Bills been after their Bye Week?
Big Turk replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Where they have won the last 2 games they played in the regular season(including last year) and would have been 3 overall if not for the 13 second debacle. Statistically Allen might have his best games there. -
And this is why you never "assume" a team is going to have an "easy" schedule down the stretch...Steelers lost to a pair of 2 win teams back to back at home. Honestly the Colts and Browns are both equally smoke and mirror teams that could easily lose to anyone as well. Those are not good teams.
