If Manuel shows he's ready to start game 1, I think Tjax is #2, Kolb is cut. If he's not quite ready, I think Kolb starts, Manuel is #2 and TJax is cut

the problem with this thinking is that none of us have the inside info like the Bills do. They are on the phone with all of the other teams and the agents. They hear who is looking at who, who is trying to trade up/down. They have so much more info than we do. Buddy said he considered trading down a little further but felt pressure from other teams targeting Manuel. I would love to have one more 2nsd rounder at our disposal, but I'm happy we ended up with the guy we wanted. I hope EJ3 becomes the QB we have needed since Jimbo retired.

They did exactly as I had hoped. I expected them to be scared and just stay at 8. The draft fell perfectly into their hands. They were able to add an extra pick and still take the #1 QB on their board. Whether or not their analysis/rankings is accurate, we have to wait a few years to find out. They drafted a good quality person, a kid I can be proud to root for and a kid who has a chance to be great. I am proud of my team right now and I am excited to see who else they add tonight. Yes. Had we let it slip out that Manuel would be our pick in Rd1 all of the 'experts' would have listed him as their #1 QB and would have mocked him to us. They all would have gushed about what a great pick it was. Since all of these morons were so wrong and were made to look stupid, they will criticize the pick endlessly.

Definitely seems like a kid who will be easy to root for, I'm proud to have him on the Bills.

I prefer Ertz at 41 and Hunter at 46 But they have so many needs, they really cannot go wrong Could go TE, WR, S, CB, OL, LB

sure. Trade down and risk losing the QB you like to the Jets. Sounds like a good plan.

My reasoning for taking a QB at 8 is that you are getting your pick of the crop. If you wait until RD2, you are getting whats left after the other QB. I want the Bills brass to identify the very best QB in this draft class and to go get him. All other positional needs are secondary in importance to me. If they identify Barkley, Manuel, Nassib, Smith or whomever else as their top rated QB in this draft, then take him at 8 and be done.

You don't draft a OG in the top 10. Especially with so many more important needs (QB, WR, TE, CB, S, LB, DE)
