  1. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Our DBs cannot cover. Our D in general is good against the run, putrid against pass. a good Offense will destroy them. Ball OL, terrible coaching, game planning and play calling. And why does our punter boom it through the end zone instead of trying to pin teams deep in their own end? This is not a playoff quality team regardless of who the QB is. Hell, we couldn't even stop Foster from rolling for a first down.
  2. EJ Manuel with a new OC (and possibly new HC)
  3. Based on what? Orton has proven that he sucks.
  4. So, what happens when Orton comes in and loses to Detroit and New England and TBD hates him too. Are we calling for Jeff Tuel against Minnesota or should we trade for Ryan Nassib? Changing QBs in this terrible offense is basically like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
  5. Maybe they are not upset with EJ as much as the terrible play calling and design of the offense.
  6. Say what you want, I'll take the players' word for it. Mike Williams called out the coaches. Said they never adjusted the play calling to the defense Houston was running. Hackett kept calling plays designed against Zone while Houston played press/man the whole game. And don't argue that I don't know what I'm seeing. This was Mike Williams who said it. Another player also said that Houston did things all day that they were not prepared for and were not in the game plan. We got outcoached again. He's soft and fragile like the other Clemson "superstar" we have.
  7. I was pissed at how Watt kept taking shots at EJ's knees. I would have considered hitting him with a nice crack back block to the knees to send a message. It would have been worth the penalty. I like Freddy upending Watt the one time and Richardson throwing an elbow into his face on the ground. Watt is a punk. And as someone else said, I will not at all be surprised when he gets busted for 'roids.
  8. Mike Williams definitely had a drop. And I believe I recall Chandler with one. Freddy admitted on the radio that he missed a couple blitz pickups which caused EJ to get crushed.
  9. As soon as Hackett is stripped of play calling duties.
  10. Houston won because of JJ Watts pick six.
  11. I predict Marrone gets the axe later this year and Bill Cowher comes in to run the show. Whaley can still be GM but the Chin will have all the power.
  12. That's about how I see it. Like 26CornerBlitz said above, the drops by receivers are also a factor as well as Watkins not even trying to go up for the one over the middle. Plus, I hate CJ. Dances too much. Misses open holes. Freddy and Boobie should get WAY more carries.
  13. of course he wanted to go. Marrone is an old OL coach. Would want the line coached his way and would have conflicted with Joe D.
  14. Stevie is sort of a pain in the butt. They replaced Stevie with Mike Williams (which is a cheaper upgrade) and then added to the mix with a guy who is supposed to be a superstar (Watkins).
  15. Stevie is an entertaining dude and I enjoyed much of his time here. But some of his childish antics and critical errors ruined it for me. I'm glad he's gone. It was frustrating to watch him towards the end of his time here. So much talent, so little brain power.
  16. I'd hardly call 2-1 and first place in the division a "perdicament"
  17. It is interesting. But I think the numbers are skewed a bit. The first game Sammy only got targeted a couple times. Game 2 was an insane amount of targets and then game 3 was only a few.
  18. Are you posting this as a negative? It seems to make sense that the Bills would want to target the guy they traded up to get. The guy that everyone seems to think is a superstar in the making.
  19. Those friggin passes downfield that he seemed to drop in on a dime where so annoying (and impressive).
  20. Well, as the saying goes, if he could catch he'd be a wide receiver
  21. Wouldn't be any fun to debate if we all agreed, right? For a long time, I was definitely more pessimistic about the Bills, but right now I am very optimistic and I feel like I have good reason to be. I do have a much more positive view of EJ than you do. I really like his personality and I like his size and skill set. I think the issues he has can be improved with experience and coaching. I have a strong belief that he is going to be good. I get frustrated by those who are just negative no matter what and who refuse to see any chance that things can get better. Let's hope I'm right and the Bills get back to the top where they should be. Have a great day. Go Bills.
  22. So, QB's never improve over time? Then why have coaches or personal trainers? I believe it is reasonable to expect EJ to improve as he gets experience. The first time he sees a particular defense or alignment, he might struggle. But over time, that should improve. It is doesn't then you know it is time to find another QB. That's why they call it "development". Coaches find a guy that has the right skillset along with the intelligence and work ethic they are looking for and they develop him. I expect to see improvement from EJ over time. Like I said, I'm fine with what I've seen from him so far because I wasn't expecting him to be Johnny Unitas immediately. I'm excited to see how he develops and how the offense as a whole gets better as they build upon things that they all do well and eliminate things they don't.
  23. That's what confuses me. How can people be do sure that EJ won't be good some day? I think he's good now. I think he might be really good someday. The difference is that I'm willing to give him a chance to get there. People with your mindset think that he should already be there or he never will be.
  24. People also need to be able to enjoy the positives and not look for every bit of negativity they can find. That will just make them miserable. There are lots of them on TBD.
  25. I hope Fitz throws three Touchdowns.....to Leodis McKelvin.
