IMHO DT is the Bills biggest need whether Phillips returns or not...I felt DT was a huge need last off season...But the 2021 Draft was one of the weakest DT Drafts I've seen in a bit...Plus I think Star's deal...and knowing he was coming back...hedged the Bills a bit. It shouldn't this year. The Bills need more disrupters inside...

Slot is likely his best fit...His change of direction and flip is ridiculously quick...
-
McCreary has very special movement skills...Like...It is noticeable...Very impressive...
-
You mean the 14 CB's that ran under 4.45? If you're watching it delayed look at the official times...They almost all improved...
-
I hear this and my thoughts go to Chandler Jones immediately...Could be 100% wrong...But...
-
Agreed...I really don't care if it's a 1 or 3...They just need better players to add to the rotation...They do a ton of mix and match already...Adding any of these guys is a big time upgrade IMHO...If Phillips is back even better...
-
I've got zero issue with that...Though I do think Wyatt is the 1st DT off the board and that will be in the top 24 somewhere... The way the Bills rotate they just need better players at DT in whole...I've preferred Davis for the obvious size reasoning. But I have to believe he's also a top 24 player after running like that...I can see Jones or Leal being in the mix at 25 for sure...It's just all good if that's where the Bills want to go...

Wyatt gives me "Combine" Marcell Dareus vibes...Pre Chicken Wings Dareus when he was an amazing prospect...

It should be a bigger, deeper class because of the Covid year...Players who opted out and came back...
-
OK...I'll stop talking about Davis at #25...It was fun while it lasted...

Cole Beasley given permission to seek trade
KOKBILLS replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
At least some of it... I'd like to see them go get Berrios now... -
We'll see how it shakes out...Thing is, College is going to keep pumping in QB's that will be drafted and make Rosters. They may not all be great, or even decent, but they take jobs. And guys like Trubisky fall through the cracks. Plus the Bills QB room is a pretty sweet gig if you're a back-up...The Bills will have a decent QB 2 and 3. Just have no idea right now who they will be...

Get Chandler Jones to come to Buffalo...He's a UFA...Last contract...He's already made 100 million dollars in the NFL and he's from Endicott...Go get him...Draft at DT and CB early. Add weapons in the 3rd Rd on like Austin and Cook that do specific jobs to boost the Offense...Re-build the O-Line depth a bit...That's what I'm looking at right now...But we'll see...

Thing is...As good as this Bills Offense is, it can certainly be better...And they seem to understand exactly where it needs to improve. I was actually encouraged with Beane's presser concerning the big Offense questions. This Bills OC job is as much of a guarantee as you're ever going to get in the NFL. Granted nothing is certain...But it's close. And it can get better...
-
No... He's fine as a complimentary though...And I felt like he really became a more seasoned pro this year. Still...It's not that the Bills need a stud RB to win it all...They don't...But boy if they had one...
-
Exactly...I understand Dorsey will have to wait a little because the Bills have to do their due diligence with the league rules on an open coordinator position...But still...The #17 kid is future HOF-kind of special...Just do your job well and the sky is the limit....
-
Honestly I have no idea right now because I've given it zero thought. I figured there was 0.0 chance Dorsey would not stay here...Unless it was pretty clear from McD himself he would not get the promo...I just think it would be insane for Dorsey to leave. It's literally a crazy career gamble... Anyway...McD's phone is about to go nuclear...Who wants to run a Josh Allen led Offense? Anyone?...

I think a lot of what happens in Rd 1 depends on 1st - Tre's injury status...2nd - If Levi is resigned...3rd if the Bills sign a Levi-tier UFA CB... Beane seemed to indicate as long as things go smooth, Tre has a decent chance to return for the season opener. Totally understand that can change. But Tre is young and these recoveries are regularly quick now. The Bills paid Tre, so they have to lean to hopeful...Just realistically hopeful. If Levi is resigned I think there is 0.0 chance the Bills go CB in Rd 1. Beane told us in the presser he's not going to Draft a guy knowing he'll be behind Dane...Let alone Tre, Levi, Taron, and Dane...If they sign a Levi-tier UFA I still think the chances are 0.0... If Tre is not going to be ready for a while, they don't re-sign Levi or sign a UFA, then CB goes to the top of the list, and they will Draft a 1st Round CB...If not I think they'll go O-Line...There is the potential for Cap casualties on the O-Line, and there are plenty of contracts coming up there in the next 2 years regardless. Beane said the #1 priority on Offense is protecting Josh. And I think there is a really great opportunity to bolster that area early in the 2022 Draft. I mean improve this line with a stud LG...Probably a kid that is a College LT, but can kick inside and really be special early in the NFL. That's where I'm leaning. But...We'll see...

Who is the best pass rusher we can get or available via trade
KOKBILLS replied to Fred Slacks's topic in The Stadium Wall
There was no bigger factor on D last Sunday than Tre being out...We all knew KC would be the ultimate test without Tre... It sucks...But it is what it is... -
Allen declines invitation to play in Pro Bowl
KOKBILLS replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Pro Bowl does not deserve Joshua Patrick Allen...
