Yawn...

Exactly Bro... One of the things I think is lost in Andre's bid here is how every Defense The Bills ever played HAD to concentrate on taking him out of the Passing Game first and foremost (admittedly they had to deal with Thurman as well...But Andre was clearly the guy you needed to stop vertically)...That just makes what guys like Andre and Irvin did even more impressive...I don't think Carter or Monk brought that same fear whatsoever...I could be wrong, but I just did not see it...

No offense...But it's over exaggerations like this that just frustrate the heck out of me... Well anyway...First of all, it's NYC, and of course there is going to be differing opinion...It's a tough, maybe the toughest Market when it comes to scrutiny...It's a massive Market with a small but VERY vocal bunch of loud mouth idiots on Sports Talk Radio that know next-to-nothing...But I'm pretty sure the majority did not want to run Eli out of Town before that 1st SB...He had gone 20-19 in his first 2 1/2 years as a Starter and got the Giants to the Playoffs twice...6 of those 19 losses came when he was thrown in as a Rookie... Just saying...

Why you getting so upset? No offense...But like others have pointed out, Dareus was an Elite Prospect for quite some time before The Combine...I know Mayock had Dareus at, or near, #1 overall leading up to the Combine...Dareus was an elite Prospect before and after Indy...I'm not sure what Mocks and Ratings you were studying...Opinions on these Kids are like...well...you know...But Dareus was clearly thought of as a Top 5 on anybody's Board that mattered...Just saying

Good... The white on white was...IMHO...Just terrible...Awful...Real bad...etc...

Break out of where? Prison? I was not aware he was incarcerated... You got the low risk part right though...You just forgot the low reward...

I think we need to know if the Bills re-sign Stevie, Bell, and Chandler before any speculation can take place... Just my opinion...But I think the status of those 3 Bills UFA's will have the biggest impact on what they will do in Free Agency and the Draft...

We agree there...I'll tell you what...If this Organization can't get a deal done with Stevie... I don't know...But I know I've had quite enough of The Bills losing talent and barely treading water in that area...They cannot afford to lose a guy like Stevie and still expect to be competitive in a Division that may just add Peyton Manning next year...They better re-sign Stevie...They better get it done, and then get him help on the other side too... I honestly believe this deal will have an effect on Season Ticket Sales...Especially if they don't re-sign him...Fans can only take so much and Bills Fans have been though WAY more than their share with this Team...I have a feeling if Stevie gets away, no matter what they do after, they are going to seriously piss off a good portion of their Fan base...I just have a feeling about that... -
Fitz Has Possibly Had A Broken Rib Since Toronto?

You do realize that's not saying much right? Just saying... -
Nope...At least not IMHO...That's who I want too...Like I said earlier in this thread I'm assuming he comes to the Combine and his Workouts in great shape and all...I think he's a major talent...Top 5 talent if he runs in the 4.5's...

Buddy did say that, but considering the fact that the likely Starter at LT for The Bills in 2012 was a 4th Round Pick (I'm assuming Bell will not be back), I think he was more or less saying The Bills would Draft an OT somewhere...I'm not so sure it's going to be in the 1st Round...I'm even less sure it will be Reiff...There is some real debate over whether or not Reiff has the athleticism to be a Franchise LT...There seems to be no question he'll start and be a good Player...But if enough Teams see him as a RT only Prospect he's going to slide a bit...Not as much as Bulaga, but a bit...And if the Bills are one of those Teams that see Reiff as more of a RT, they won't Draft him at #10...Period... We'll see though...If any Team from 1-9 sees Reiff as a Franchise LT he'll surely be gone because it's such and important Position...And if he's there at #10, and The Bills Draft him, he better strap it on because he's going to play a lot as a Rookie...In the end though, because they have Harrison, I think The Bills go elsewhere at #10...Not that a player like Reiff, Martin, or even Mike Adams would not improve the O-Line at LT...But the other pressing needs on Defense, and at WR, make it more of an outside chance IMHO...

Well...It's a red-flag...I'm not disputing that...But he's a College Kid, and I'm more than willing to give him a pass if he shows up at the Combine and his workouts in good shape...I don't think he's a bad Kid or anything like that...It's just my opinion, but I think he's got Larry Fitgerald-type potential...Maybe better...We'll see...

It's all going to be about the Combine and/or Private Workouts for Jeffery...He did let himself get a little out-of-shape last Season...But in actuality his weight did not effect his production nearly as much as the QB change...He still runs by CB's like Dennard with little effort...But if he gets his weight WAY down, shows dedication to being in top condition, and runs in the 4.5's, I can't see why he would not be a Top 7-15 Pick...If he shows up with that little pooch and looks slow, he'll slide...despite being enormously talented...
-
OT Martin OT Reiff WR Jeffery (I'm assuming he gets serious about his conditioning for the Combine...If so I think he's an elite Prospect and a HUGE upgrade...I realize I'm in the minority on Jeffery...but I don't care...lol) DE Coples (not sure about safe...But his upside is pretty high) DE/OLB Courtney Upshaw (I think he's a VERY safe pick...But not spectacular...)

I think in 3-5 Years Luck will be a Top 1-5 QB in the League...To me he's Big Ben only more athletic, more accurate, and smarter...He completed over 70% of his last 776 Passes at Stanford with 69 TD's and only 18 INT's in that span...That's amazing! He may struggle a bit till Indy gets a Team around him...But when they do he'll do his job exceptionally well IMHO...I got to watch a lot of him this past Season...I was amazed at how effortlessly he put the ball exactly where it needed to be... I would seriously give just about anything to see that Kid in Buffalo...It's SO sad...

While I don't think Osweiler is a 1st Round QB Prospect based on where his game is currently, in this day-and-age of the NFL Draft who knows?...There is no question he has the raw ability...He's VERY athletic for a Kid his size...He slides in the Pocket pretty well and he does seem to have a strong arm on some throws...Though I don't think he's got a cannon or anything like that...I'll be interested to see what they say about his Football IQ by the time the Draft rolls around...Size-wise I guess he compares to Ryan Mallett...We all know Mallett took a beating on his foot-speed and off-the-field stuff...Teams were scared to death of Mallett off-the-field obviously...But what got him Drafted by The Pats was that arm, and his ability on the white board...This Kid is twice the athlete Mallett is, but I don't think he's got Mallett's arm strength (few do)...We'll see if he has Mallett's Football IQ...If he does he's going to rocket up some boards... Anyway...If Osweiler's smart enough some Team will likely take a flyer at the bottom of the 1st or early in the 2nd...I just have a feeling some Team is going to take the bait...

You mean the same Robert Ayers who is starting for a very good Denver Defense and had 2 Sacks in a Playoff Win this year? Sometime it takes a bit...Sometime it's Coaching, scheme, etc...And yes sometimes the Prospect is a bust...But Ayers is coming on...He had a decent year and he's a big piece of the future for that Denver Defense...

Conditional pick from Lynch trade?

Tebow? I'm no Fitz fan...at all...But I'd take Anthony Davis, Jason Pierre-Paul, or Dez Bryant over Tebow any day... -
Interesting... So in two weeks or so Buddy has completely gone back on his statement about Freddie? I'm kinda thinking not so much...Not saying someone did not say what you say you heard...Just saying...People say dumb things all the time on Sports Talk Radio... A little reminder of Buddy's comments concerning Fred Jackson at his Presser... "Does anybody in here know how long Fred Jackson’s contract is? You do, John? He’s a Bill for 14 months, a year from March 13th. Now, Fred and I have talked. We want to extend Fred. I’d like for Fred to finish his career as a Bill. He’s meant a lot to us. I’ve got great respect for him. I tell him that. We’re going to try to get something done. Does it matter if we do it or if we do it next week or a month from now? As long as we get it done before the season starts it’s all the same, really, seems to me. And it’s not like he’s going to get hurt playing now. But we do want Fred back and we do intend to try to workout a deal with him. I’ve told him that and I’m going to tell him again this week before I leave here. And just to re-assure him that what we said is what we’re going to do."

Vikings will listen for trades....

There's NO WAY I would take Fitz over Flacco, Romo, Smith, Freeman, or Dalton (Freeman and Dalton are still pretty young and plenty talented)...I would take Fitz over Gabbert now for certain...But Gabbert was only a Rookie...We'll see after next year...But anyway...That shaves your list down a bit IMHO... -
Please tell me you're not serious...Use the smiley or something for God's sake...Or hurry up with the punch line...You've taken it too far already...

Leading pass rush candidates with short arms
KOKBILLS replied to Cheddar's Dad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has been my feeling as well all along...Not that I hate Upshaw or anything like that...Just that there will be better Prospects available at #10 with MUCH higher Grades, and The Bills refuse to Trade Down...So I don't see Upshaw as a possibility at #10 at all... -
Neither Dareus nor Williams is a 4-3 DE...Maybe in certain Run Stop Packages...But that's about it...
