  1. Well all that may very well be true...But the 4.95 40 is all I need to know...
  2. You think the FO, the Ozzie Newsome led FO is in danger?
  3. Well...Then there's that...
  4. I'm feeling a "Kumbayah" sing-a-long coming... Am I the only one? Come on Y'all!!!
  5. I'm pretty sure Gruden has never seen, heard of, or spoken to a QB that he did not have serious man-love for... Gruden loves all QB's...This is well known...Just saying...
  6. The rumor all along has been Barkley-love in Zona...But we'll see... I agree about the KC thing...Can't understand why anyone in that Organization would be saying anything negative about the QB's...Unless they are 100% determined to stay at #1 regardless...It's kind of stupid for their GM to say such a thing...
  7. It is...And I'm not going to lie...It's scaring me a bit... Careful... I got pretty beat up by some of the geniuses around here when I pointed out the same thing concerning Tyler Wilson and his tiny 8.5" hands...
  8. A quick note about Nassib... One guy I really respect is Charles Davis...I'll never forget a couple years ago when Davis went out on a limb and said down the line Colin Kaepernick would be the best QB from the 2011 class... When asked a couple days ago which QB he preferred Nassib or Tyler Wilson, Davis was pretty confident that Wilson was the better pro prospect...He felt both had similar athletic ability, but he liked everything about Wilson's intangibles over Nassib...The thing is, as he elaborated on Wilson he said that the Arkansas QB would be a great back-up that could win a few games as a starter...Davis then said he was unsure Wilson could project as a future full-time starter in the NFL... What I'm getting at is this...I respect Davis a lot...He likes Wilson better than Nassib...He thinks Wilson is a 3rd Round prospect who may never be a full time starter in the NFL...So I'll let Y'all speculate on what Davis thinks about Nassib's potential... Mayock also has Nassib tied with Landry Jones as the 5th rated QB...Tied with Landry Jones... Now I'm not saying any of this means Nassib cannot develop into a quality NFL starter in time...But the momentum does seem to be moving in the wrong direction for Nassib...Especially when you're talking about #8 overall...I would say the chances that Nassib is Drafted at #8 overall at this point are slim and none...And Slim done left town... Just saying...
  9. Like that ever stopped the Bills before... They don't interview the same...That's all I'm saying...The rest of the comparisons are quite valid...Size/speed especially...
  10. That never, ever, gets old...
  11. Well...The Campbell comparison has me a bit confused...Seeing as though Manuel rushed for more yards as a Sr than Campbell did in his 4 Auburn years combined...Maybe they have similar passing skills...Maybe...But Manuel's running ability, and the versatility that brings in today's NFL, make him a completely different animal IMHO...
  12. I'm not saying this is a correct observation at all...But I am noticing that some of the experts are coming out pretty strong against FSU's Offensive scheme when talking about, and projecting Manuel...There seems to be a steady stream of quotes like the one Mayock continues to use about the ridiculous amount of short passes Manuel was asked to throw at FSU, etc...So there seems to be the feeling out there by some that Manuel was held back due to scheme,..
  13. We'll see how Barkley does at his Pro Day...At this point I'm hoping Barkley lights it up big time...Otherwise Manuel could move ahead of Barkley for good, and who knows what can happen from 1-7 if that is the case!!!...But to your point about the potential cluster of QB's...I don't think it's materializing that way this year...I think Smith is clearly #1...Barkley and Manuel are battling for #2, and both are considered 1st Round prospects...Nassib is next as a late 1st-early 2nd guy, but seems to be slipping a little...Then the next tier is Scott, who is on the rise, Glennon, Wilson, and Bray... To me, it's looking more and more like the Bills will be sweating bullets from picks 1-7...And if Smith or Manuel is there at #8 they will take either, and walk away happy to do so...
  14. And the comparisons to Culpepper should end right there...
  15. Agreed...Whether it was spin or not, Nix was squarely in the forefront when it came to hyping Fitz...The quote most known and used by Nix is the one about (and I'm paraphrasing here) how Fitz has done it before...And how it's a good ol' scout's saying that if they've done it before, they can do it again...I think Nix was as "all-in" on Fitz as Gailey was, and he only got off that bandwagon when he was told he better do so...That's just what I think... My general observation of Buddy is this...If you are trying to figure out the unknown, assume the worst with Nix...I think he's far more clueless as a GM than most of us believe...And I don't think he's some super-scout either...I think he's average in that area...But in the area of making GM decisions he's the worst...Assume that, and everything becomes easier to understand...
  16. The point about Manuel was brought up today on the NFL Network's Path To The Draft. One "expert" made the point that Manuel put up better numbers than Ponder, in the same Offense, with less talent around him than Ponder had...I don't remember who Ponder had at receiver...But I know Manuel certainly had less WR talent than Geno, Barkley, and Bray...That's for sure...
  17. I was certainly in that group of folks who wanted to see The Bills trade down...In a perfect world, if I knew 100% they could still land Manuel (or whatever QB they love), I would still prefer that scenario... But the way things seem to be playing out right now, it certainly looks like a trade down would be a sizable risk if Manuel truly is the target...It seems to me that as more and more "experts" study Manuel, they are coming out thinking he's a 1st Round talent...And even if you have him rated as a 20-30 overall guy, we all know how QB's get pushed up...And it seems to me that the key here is the NY Jets at #9...Are you going to trade out of #8 knowing the Jets can get your targeted QB? It's a tough spot... I'm guessing, if The Bills do trade out of #8, they are not very interested in Manuel...Because if he is their guy, I don't see any way they don't take him at #8 now...He's moving way up...Manuel's momentum is reminding me of Locker and Ponder in the month before the Draft...And I think Manuel is a better Pro prospect than both of those QB's...And both those QB's went in the Top 12 in 2011... If I had to bet right now...I would bet on The Bills taking Manuel at #8...I really would...But there's still a month plus to go...We'll see...
  18. The way it's looking now, by the time The Bills Draft in the 2nd Round the QB's to choose from will be Tyler Wilson, Mike Glennon, Matt Scott, and Tyler Bray...I think there is a pretty decent chance Smith, Barkley, Manuel, and Nassib go in the 1st Round alone...If Smith and Barkley go in the Top 7 things could get crazy... So...If The Bills take Manuel at #8 because they simply don't believe they can move down and still get him, I'm OK with it...At least I understand...And a team that has almost zero talent at the QB position adds a big, strong-armed, super-athletic project...Then it's up to Marrone to do something with him...
  19. Who are you referring to? Because if it's Jordan, he was a full-serve OLB who even covered slot receivers...In fact his sack numbers suffered because Oregon used him so many ways...Jordan's extremely versatile in comparison to most projected 3-4 OLB's... And to answer your original question...Von Miller?
  20. I would be thrilled with this...^^^
  21. I don't disagree whatsoever...This is the exact reason why I wanted David Caldwell to be hired as the Bills GM...I think Caldwell's resume is a bit more impressive than Whaley's for sure...Though I do admit it's tough to judge Whaley on what he has actually done from the shadows...
