I think there is plenty of blame to go around in the Byrd situation...And no one is ever going to know what really happened behind the scenes unless someone starts talking...And I doubt that is going to happen any time soon...

He's looked good all preseason...He's led the Bills in receiving this preseason by a wide margin I believe...You can't ignore the injuries and health problems...He's looked great in the preseason before his heart issue...He's always shown promise but this year he looks confident...I'm not sure why you would believe the judgement on Easley is coming from one play...You think I just started watching football tonight?

I understand this take is dripping with sarcasm...But how exactly will the Bills lose Byrd for nothing? As it looks right now it's about 99.9% that IF the Bills can't come to terms with Byrd before the tag deadline, he'll get the Franchise designation...And more than likely they'll deal him this time around...They'll get something for Byrd, or they'll have him for 2014 minimum...

Amen...When Brady has struggled he has done so vs. D-Lines that have dominated...This bunch has rarely dominated any game regardless of their individual, or supposed, talent...

I don't see any way this team can cut Easley...To the admittedly untrained eye he has clearly looked talented this preseason on a team that is lacking in talent overall...

I will say that no matter how ridiculous it may be to do, if you judged this team based on the last two preseason games there is no way anyone could be convinced that they would win a single game in the regular season...That was some seriously bad football played out there for the better part of 8 straight quarters, and especially for the last 6...

Certainly does not look like anyone is playing with the fear of losing a spot...That's for sure...

It's interesting because the one single thing I remember about Reich before he actually got a chance to play in a regular season game (the Monday night gave vs. the Rams) was that he looked terrible in preseason games...I'm not saying I remember everything because that was a long time ago...But I do remember specifically thinking he was going to be awful based on what I saw in preseason...And obviously he proved me very wrong...

I doubt it's going to be a current Free Agent...It will be somebody who is cut next Saturday...Maybe even a couple...

It boggles the mind...There were a TON of one year options out there at a bunch of depth areas... So...What exactly was the plan? I get not signing big long-term deals with players like Woody, Carrington, and a CJ extension coming up soon...But exactly what could it have hurt to use a bit of that space to bring in a couple insurance players for a year or two?...Especially at CB and OG where everyone knew we were paper thin...

Right...Because even though everyone and their mother understands EJ Manuel is the starting QB for the Buffalo Bills as soon as he's healthy, Chan would rather be unemployed than facing the 50/50 (at best) possibility of starting a UDFA for one of 16 games...

I honestly think it's more likely to see Duke Williams get time at CB than Aaron...If Aaron is moved now you're screwing up 2 positions...I'm sure AW be an emergency CB though...But I'm kind of hoping that's as close to CB he gets...

At the post Draft presser Doug Whaley did say that Duke Williams was going to play some CB...So I expect that will be the first move there (meaning Williams becomes the 3rd or 4th CB depth-wise)...Unless Williams has already shown he can't do it... Agreed...Like I said previously I counted 38 vet UFA CB's signed to one year deals this off season...There was plenty of depth to be had on the cheap...

The waiver wire will be better after the last cutdown...Expect the Bills to sign a CB, maybe two then...If you're the last DB kept by the Bills this year you better keep your bags packed...
