I hear ya...But I think if the Bills were to go 2-0 in those 2 games it would say a hell of a lot about this team...Especially considering they will still likely be pretty banged up...

I noticed on the radio pre game Dareus even calls himself "Big Daddy." I thought at the time that was a bit strange for a player who has played like big granddaddy at times...But on games like today's #99 shows how good he really can be...And I want to call him "Big Daddy" all the time...

Agreed...I think maturity has something to do with that as well...At least in my personal case it did....When I was younger I was more willing to be aggressive with my opinions around here...I got worked up with a few individuals...And I had a few tussles along the way...Looking back on it I'm not proud of it for sure...Now I at least try to NOT make it personal, and even throw the poster I'm responding to a "no offense," or "I hear what you're saying...but..." It goes a long way...At least I hope it does...I respect all Bills Fans (well most anyway)...We've been through a lot together...We're a tough breed...Respect is an important part of this deal if you ask me...Of course no one did...

Hackett is learning just like the kids on this Offense...It's going to take time, and most importantly a consistent running game week in and week out for his Offense to thrive...I think today was a nice step in the right direction, but it also gave Hackett and Marrone some things to coach hard this week... Baby steps...

If I can throw my 2 cents in...As a member of this board since before I can remember it has a very special place in my life...It's my homepage at work, my homepage at home...it has been since I got internet...And that was a long, long, time ago...And I almost never complain...Almost never... When I see posts about what is wrong with Bills fans, or I read incredibly ridiculous over-exaggerations and over-generalizations about what Bills fans think, or believe overall, I think that is where this board gets the farthest away from it's roots...This board was built on the good, solid, football conversation about THE BILLS...The team, the coaches, the front office, etc...The game...On the field and off...This board has been an absolute wealth of solid knowledge about Bills football for many, many years now...This board suffers greatly when it veers off that course into conversation about what "the fans" think...Keep the conversation to football on and off the field...Even check your facts now and again...If you find yourself starting a post to point out how you were right and ALL "the fans" were wrong...Or all the pundits were wrong...Just stop...Please for the love of all things good, which is TBD to me, just stop...There are ways to make your points about football without pointing out how everyone else is wrong...Talk about football...Make your point, right or wrong...But keep it about the Bills and about the NFL...That's what makes this board the best on the internet...

Exactly...He's just a Rookie who has played a grand total of 4 NFL games...If he continues to improve...the sky is the limit for EJ...And if the Bills consistently find the running game it's going to get easier for him as time goes on...

I think too if he has a chance to set his feet, the pass to Woods that got intercepted would have been 6 as well...

I doubt that goes unnoticed in that locker room...The guy is getting over $400K for every game he misses btw... I think the move to Safety rebuilt Aaron's confidence...He's a different player this year...That confidence has served him well when he was forced to switch back...I don't know if this team will ever be healthy in the secondary...But I would love to see the Gilmore, McLovin, Byrd, Williams starting unit out there for a few games at least...Just have a feeling they could be one of the better secondaries in the league if given the chance to play together for a while...

Both plays were very close...The Woods play especially...I think Chandlers hip hit half on the line, half off...The Woods play looked like the right call to me...Then they showed the last replay angle, the shot coming right at him, and it looked like a good catch...Both were close for sure. But neither final call could be argued as wrong I guess...

So true...Freddie will forever be one of my favorite Bills...Throughout all these crap seasons the guy has been game whenever he's healthy, he's a great leader, and just pure class...He's also pretty underrated as a football player...

I'd say the Ravens got lucky they did not get run out of the Ralph...Two plays alone to Woods should have been TD's (the one he bobbled and the one EJ underthrew for the INT)...Not to mention Lee Smith falling down on a sure TD two plays before Woods no-catch...The Bills settled for two FG's early on...The Bills did not get lucky...If anything they were very unlucky in this game...

Goodness that 2nd half was hard to watch...They left a ton of points out there on the field today...But a win is a win...Build off this and the Bills could actually be decent...Play like they did in the 2nd half and...well...

D-Line is going to set a record for offsides penalties this year...Take it to the bank...

No way that's TD...Sorry... If that ball does not move ever so slightly on his shoulder it's 6 though...Good effort by Woods and a great pass by EJ...That was razor close...

Defense wearing down again because the Offense can't convert on 3rd down...This is too easy to predict at this point...The Bills either move the ball and convert on Offense or they lose this game...

3rd Down again...Jeez...This is just pitiful...

Inability to convert on 3rd down is ridiculous...Two 3rd and shorts and the Bills get nothing...They could have put the Ravens away in the 1st half with a couple nice plays on 3rd Down... This is a truly terrible 3rd down Offense so far this year...Just really bad...

Is this seriously all Hackett can come up with on 3rd and short?
